Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover." - Mark Twain. 28) Favorite body part? On myself? My eyes, I feel like they show my emotions more than my words or actions ever really do. On others? Again the eyes for the same reason. That saying about eyes being the windows to the soul I find to be true. 29) 10 things you couldn’t live without? Food, Air, Water....okay sorry not so literal. Music, Dance, Family, Love, Exercise, Parties/Fun, Friends, Chocolate-Covered Popcorn, Flirting, and Mexican Food. Dislikes 30) One thing you’d change about yourself? About myself? I would change...physically I'd want to be taller? 5'7 (nearly 5'8) for a man is somewhat short I'd say so taller yes. Emotionally I'd change the temper I have that comes from my dad, it's never wise to lose your head and fight no but I snap too easily. 31) Least favorite food? Liver, I do not and will not ever understand how people can eat it. All of the waste in your body passes through it, who would want to eat that? 32) Most annoying song? Ever been rick-rolled? I have, that song does not ever go away once it's in your head so that would be the most annoying to me. 33) Least favorite animal? Cats, they just do not like me. I always end up with a scratch if I get too close to them. 34) Least favorite weather? Tornadoes? Hurricanes? The bad stuff since I'm fine with thunderstorms and sunshine. 35) Least favorite chore? Laundry. I never remember to wash clothes then it always seems I'm scrambling to find something to wear on the mornings I have early lessons. 36) Bad habit you should quit? Fidgeting. I am one of those men who just can't sit still normally. 37) Least favorite Movie? The Notebook, it's not a bad movie. I don't hate it just because I'm a man and it's a chick-flick because some chick-flicks are good movies. I hate this one because of an ex of mine picking it every single time she got to pick a movie. Saw it too many times. 38) Least favorite place to be? Jail, been there only once and never want to repeat that. It was a case of mistaken identity...they were very sorry...I met a man named Dirk who liked leather and seeing other men cry. Never again. 39) 10 Things you could live without? Boredom, Liver, Dirk (haha), Fighting, Money-Hungry People, Silence, The Common Cold (which hits me hard every year), Cats, Blood, and Whiney People who never take the blame for their own problems. Random 40) When is your bedtime? Whenever I fall asleep? Depends on how awake I am and when I have to be at work the next day. 41) Do you smoke, drink, swear, do drugs? No I want to be a successful dancer or at least a successful dance teacher? A father, good husband, and man who has no regrets. 46) Do you believe in love at first sight? Yes I do, haven't yet experienced it for myself but I still believe in it. 47) Do you sing or dance? Dance yes, my singing though is something I only do when alone. 48) Have you ever shoplifted? No? 49) Ever been arrested? Yes I have, that's how I met Dirk. Mistaken Identity. Personality – fill in 10 words to describe yourself and tell why. 50) Fun-Loving There's nothing better than having a good time, and not many people know how to just let loose and enjoy life anymore. I'm one of the rare few who can and does look for the good/fun in my life and I don't pass up a chance to laugh or enjoy myself in any situation/setting. 51) Random/Spontaneous Always doing what's predictable gets boring and stale after awhile right? I like to keep things unpredictable and spicey in my life. Add variety and try anything once, multiple times if it's fun, or just do what I think would be interesting. If I'm wrong I'll remember that for next time but if I'm right then it's a new exciting experience. 52) Caring Those guys who ask "what's wrong?" and really mean "I'll listen to you whine so I can use that to get into your panties" are assholes and need their balls squeezed in a vice. I don't ask if I don't want to know the answer to a question and I honestly care about the people around me be they friend or stranger. 53) Thoughtful/Observant I sometimes notice things that others don't and I'm not a man to forget the important things like what I know will make a woman smile or an important date that should be remembered. I am thoughtful in that I care enough to put some thought behind a gift or gesture so that it means something. 54) Gentle I am good at dealing with people in most situations, a fight isn't where you'd need to be gentle but if someone is crying/upset/hurt then I'm not just going to barrel on into the situation without a care for what my words or actions may cause. I get the need to take care of people from my mom and she taught me well. 55) Temper Yes I have a temper, it runs in our family actually since my dad has one too. No he's not a man who looks to fight or cause problems but if you piss him off and he doesn't care enough for you to stop himself from throwing a punch? Run. Our tempers run hot and quick, we don't hold grudges and it's pointless to drag out a fight but that instant flash of it can be dangerous. 56) Street-Smart Books while sometimes fun to read aren't where I get my smarts really, I'm not that man who reads to gain knowledge. I learn from trying things, hands on experience, and just doing whatever it is I'm curious about. You can read all you want but all you learn is what the book tells you but if you live it or do it yourself you get a better experience and understanding. 57) Grounded I am more down to earth than you'd expect with my "fun" philosophies, I know that you have to be serious sometimes and not everything can be fun. I accept that and do what I have to do. I don't aim higher than I can reach normally and if something I really want or need is out of reach I find solutions to be able to get it instead of expecting things to just work out for me. 58) Dreamer Being grounded doesn't stop me from dreaming, I still dream of the things I know I can't possibly reach I just know better than to expect to reach out and touch them or take them for myself. Life without dreams is boring and boredom makes me even more fidgety than normal so I enjoy my dreams. 59) Joker This goes a little with my fun-loving side really since a joke can be fun. I don't make fun of people and be mean to get a laugh, I'm more of the old school joker/prankster where you're doing it so yourself and the person involved can both laugh and not be humiliated. It's all for fun and most often to get others to laugh and have fun. Family/History 60) Who are your parents? Lisa and Marc Langley. Mom's an artist and a secretary, dad works in an office building pushing paper and trying to climb the ladder...he's pretty close to the top these days I hear. 61) Do you have any siblings? Two yes, older brother and younger sister. Max and Katie. 62) Best memory? Dancing with my mom in the livingroom. She'd turn on music and teach me since she loved dancing as well though she didn't make a life of it like I'm doing. We'd dance while she cleaned and I'd help, my dad would come home and swing her into his arms to dance with him. It was sweet and perfect. 63) Worst memory? When my older brother told my parents he was joining the army. My mother was so...well she was proud but heartbroken at the same time. War's aren't anything you can really predict unless you know all that's going on but the thought that he might one day have to go fight? Scared her. My dad too. I remember she was crying in the kitchen so Max wouldn't see. They were so proud of him and then we were all scared out of our minds with the war that came after 9/11 because he was a part of it. He's back for now though so that's good. 64) Ever been in love? Oh yeah, I've dated sure but there were two relationships which seemed serious, one when I was sixteen and Jess was my dream girl and all I could want in the world. I was going to marry her some day. We broke up because she got a car and lost interest in her dancer boyfriend. The second was with a more recent ex Cassie who is the one who made me watch the notebook all the time. She went off to study abroad and we were basically done by then anyway because the spark had died. 65) One accomplishment? I have trophies for my dancing but getting a certification that means I could teach dance? That was a big day for me because I love dancing and wanted to make a career of it so that's the first thing that came to mind for accomplishments here. 66) Two goals for the future? Open my own studio, currently I'm working out of someone else's but I want my own. Become an average-joe, no not as boring as you're thinking what I mean is fall in love, start a family, live happily and as normal as possible? 67) Family member you are closest too? Hard to pick because we're all pretty close, I guess my mom since she's the one who taught me to dance and things...though my dad taught me to fix cars and stuff. I don't know really I'm close to my siblings too and keep in touch with all of them. I can't pick. 68) Worst thing to happen to you? Broke my leg at a dance competition once, went to do this jump thing and landed wrong and snap. I had to wear a cast, do the physical therapy to get back into shape with even walking then even more pt for getting back to dancing. It was rough but I worked through it and got back what I love doing. 69) Something that happened recently that you’ll never forget? Being asked to dance by a five year old. Seriously I was at my brother's wedding and one of his friend's kids came over all formal like "would you please dance with me?" and I would never have been able to say no to that. She was a great dancer and I had a good time, she was my dance partner for the night too and we had a blast, her mom thought it was hilarious and took lots of pictures then asked if I taught classes for kids which I do so I think I'll be seeing my little friend again some day. |
