[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=style, width: 400px; height: 200px;]if the skies get rough, i'm giving you all my love tagged: colton / wearing: hurr / wc: 1063 / ps. crappy chloe sighed as she shut her locker door, messenger bag strap hanging over one shoulder as she made her way out the door. it had been a bad day today. first, she got yelled at by her french teacher because, apparently, she was too advanced and was confusing the rest of the class with her subjunctives. it wasn't like she could unlearn her french. but she let it slide because what was she supposed to say or do? snap back at her teacher? that was unlikely. that was something zooey would do, not her. she didn't snap back or talked back unless it was really called for, and she didn't think it was called for at the time. then, in gym class, some idiot had pranked the teacher, so that resulted in punishment for the whole class- which, in translation, meant that they had a whole period of suicides and burpee's. if that wasn't bad enough, she was locked inside the girl's bathroom in the third floor for a whole hour before someone finally heard plea for help and set her free. and to top it all off, she hadn't seen colton all day except for the morning when they woke up to get ready for school. she had been busy with her club meetings during lunch, and throughout her break time, it was either occupied by a teacher or she was stuck trying to get past the crowd to her locker. however, chloe refused to let it all affect her mood- even if she would have to last a few more hours without colton. he had practice and she would never dream of interfering with that. she knew how much he loved basketball just as much as he knew how much music meant to her. both things were equally important to the two. so, even though she missed his company and would love nothing than to be wrapped up in her arms, she placed a careful smile on her face as she made her way home.
it wasn't relatively a long walk. for a city girl like her, the lack of transportation had been difficult to get used to at first because she was so used to taking transit and the subway or taxiing everywhere. now, everything was either walking distance, or they were driving distance. and even though she usually got a ride to school with colton, going home was a different story. she was used to the distance from school to home or work. she tried the best she could to not spend a single penny on gas or bus passes when she didn't have to. she knew the two of them could use all the money they could get. their low class shack was a good distance away, but it was good exercise and chloe often felt better after a nice long walk. however, something was biting at her; she just didn't know what it was. maybe it was a gut feeling, but maybe she was just being paranoid. or it could even be her weird twin telepathy thing. whatever it was, she decided to ignore it because she didn't seem to be in immediate danger. after a good forty-five minute walk, she was finally a few meters away from home, but what surprised her was the man wracking on her flimsy house door. she pursed her lips as she approached the man cautiously, tapping on his shoulder lightly, "can i help you?" she asked timidly, glancing up at the tall stranger that looked freakishly like an older version of colton, but at the same time, not really. "i'm looking for colton." the man said gruffly, brushing her off his shoulder. she pursed her lips, "he's at practice. who's looking for him? do you want to leave a message for him?" the man huffed, sending an impatient glance of annoyance, "i'm his dad, who are you?" her brown eyes widened, her pursed lips breaking into a smile, "oh hi, mr. moore! please, do come in!" she said as she dug through her backpack for the keys, swinging the door open for the man.
she made her way to the kitchen as she set her brown bag on the chair by the dinner table, opening the cupboards for a cup before cocking her head his way, "would you like some tea or coffee? perhaps water?" the older man didn't seem to hear her though as he made his way around the small cottage home thing before settling his eyes on her. "who are you?" he asked, stepping closer towards her. hesitantly, she closed the cupboards door, turning to face the man, "i'm chloe.... colton's wife.... your daughter in law..." she mumbled, confusion written on her face. she had clearly thought that colton would have at least mentioned her to his dad. the man frowned, taking another step forward closer to her, scoffing as he looked her up and down, "you?" he snorted as if she said a funny joke, "you don't deserve to be my daughter in law. you're just another one of colton's play thing. he'll grow tired of you. realize what a big mistake he's made." the man said, taking a step closer to her with each word spoken until he was inches away from her. chloe didn't cower though, "will all due respect, sir, colton's changed. he's not like that anymore." she defended, frowning. he laughed, "what do you know? you're just a little girl. you won't be here for long if i have anything to do about it, now get lost." he grumbled out, gripping at her upper arm tightly and practically dragging her out. she pulled back from the restraint, "this is my home with colton, mr. moore, and i am not leaving. ever." he gripped her arm even tighter if that was possibly as she let out a small cry, trying to loosen his grip with her other hand, "let go of me, sir, you're hurting me!" she exclaimed. instead, though, the man just used his other hand to grab a handful of her hair, bringing her face closer to his, "you're just another one of colton's worthless sluts. you are nothing. you don't deserve him, understood?" this time, chloe really did cower under the man's ice cold glare and harsh tone, trying to set her hair and arm free from his painful grasp.

If we want to do it, the world is ours , if you just take my hand, we can take it RUBY W/ CHLOE , 1234 , SHORTS&WHITETSHIRT , OMG HE'S PISSED it amazed him how fast this girl could change his entire world around, and it was all that colton could concentrate on during practice. he sunk his free throws and his three point shots but he was lagging behind when it came to running on the track or doing the endurance excercises. he knew that chloe should have been on her way home from class and her club meetings while he was still stuck at practice but usually he was able to catch up to his wife before she even reached home as their house was a bit out of the way but it was homey and it was the best place in his price range as he no longer had an adult to support him. colt, man! focus! and the voice caused a smirk to rise to his lips as he caught the ball that was being passed to him, faking a shot and quickly moving around his defensive man in order to sink the ball into the net. his hands were still up in air, locked in the position from when the ball had left his hands and he shot his friend a look with a wink, ”hey she keeps me focused..” [/b] he grinned, taking the ball back as it was passed to him and shouting out yet another play to practice. it was a difficult practice but the last whistle was blown and they ceased their game, all of the males panting and some kneeling on the ground just to catch their breath. it was an intense sport and even more of an intense game as all of the team players were well aware of how to fake out the other and new tactics had to be made on the spot in order to get the shots. colton was ranked third for most points meaning he did not have to run the final laps around the track and could take off for home just a few minutes early. he put his arm around his best friend’s shoulder, grinning and laughing about the game and then diverging into topics such as their significant others as the two of them were in the same boat—no mom and a deadbeat father. technically, colton’s father was not a deadbeat but in colton’s mind, he was dead and was never meant to come back into his life again. his fingers wrapped around the cotton towel as he quickly washed the sweat off him and got changed into his street clothes and out of the gym clothes that were now shoved into his bag. organization was not his thing and he knew that chloe was going to say something about how wrinkled his clothes would be but that was no concern, his only thought was to get home to his wife, have a real shower (maybe even one that included her), eat and snuggle up to her on the couch. chloe was his entire world, his rock and he was just too eager to see her once again. he wished his friend good luck on an important date that would probably seal their fate as much as his own relationship had been sealed and he was hoping for the best for his friend. never did colton imagine that he would be married at eighteen but it just took that one special, music loving, neat freak type girl with a sweet taste to get him to settle down. he changed everything for her and though the road was rocky and it still had his bumps but every moment was worth it. he strolled out of the gym and out into parking lot where his car sat, waiting in idle for him to return and in no time, colton was blasting his music and returning home to his wife’s side. his fingers were strumming on the steering wheel in an attempt to keep the butterflies that always appeared just before he returned home, and to keep his mind out of the gutter, as he tried to keep to the beat of the song. the drive out to his house was a good fifteen minutes, a longer time than it took most people to return home but the small cottage was homey and a place that was private enough, but public enough at the same time. they could raise a family there, and it’s where their lives started and colton could not imagine parting from it quite yet. his bag hunger over his shoulder as he began to head up the three steps that lead to the porch and he noticed two things that made him stop. one was the door was slightly ajar which both confused and concerned him and the second was their was an all too familiar car sitting only feet away from his own personal driveway which caused his jaw to tighten and the door to just fly open. ”DAD!’[/b] he shouted, the sight of his own father’s arm wrapped around his wife was enough to send anger throughout his body and it was written across his face in seconds. ”get the fuck away from her! how dare you come back into this house!”[/b]. his father’s shirt was now bunched in both hands and he brought him close before shoving him away, he gave chloe a very quick glance over and could see the bruise already forming on her arm. ”son! welcome home. how is everything? i see that you forgot to tell me about your little …mistake here.” and that sent colton over the edge. chloe was not a mistake to him, she was his everything, and no one was allowed to speak to her or about her in such a negative way. ”you don’t even know her and you never will because if I ever catch you near my wife, or my house again, I will personally make sure that it’s my hands that end your life! do you understand me!? you are not welcomed here and you are not wanted here, so get out of here mitchell”[/b] he spoke, using his father’s real name. the fact that they even shared a last name was enough to make colton resent his father but the actions that his father did from having affairs, to fraud and then sleeping with a minor made him that much more cautious to have him even near his wife. colton could not control his temper and sent a fist into his father’s face who had started with the words, your mother…, ”would have been proud of me and she would adore my wife but you…you will never get to know them. you are dead to me, and if you think I won’t hold up my threat, remember the evidence I have against you. now get out of my house..”[/b], he gave his father a punch to the stomach before pointing to the door. it took the older man a few minutes to gather up the dignity to walk out with his head held high and whispering his own threat that reached colton’s ears. he ignored it though, quickly turning around as all signs of anger vanished from his face and he showed nothing but concern for his wife, ”chloe..baby, are you okay? did he hurt you?....”[/b] he asked, reaching up to brush a strand of hair out of her face, leaning down to press his lips to her forehead. [atrb=border,0,true][atrb=style, width: 400px; height: 200px;]if the skies get rough, i'm giving you all my love tagged: colton / wearing: hur / wc: 1075 / ps. chlo loves you bby chloe had never, in her life, been manhandled the way she was now. she had never had a hand lain on her and no one ever dared to take a strike at her - given who her parents were. they came from old money and was rather well known for their riches back in brooklyn. everyone was too afraid of the consequences to even think twice about ever hurting her or her twin sister. but being here now, with a man much stronger and bigger than her, she was at a complete loss for what to do. she didn't know whether to strike back or scream for help. or maybe be pathetic and cry about it. deep down, she knew none of the words colton's dad was speaking were true because she knows just how much colton loved her, but at the same time, the words did hurt. he might as well just sliced a knife through her heart with those words. and despite the fact that she knew it wasn't true, mr. moore had opened up her own doubts with the wound. occasionally, she, too, would think that she wasn't good enough for colton. that he could do so much better. even when she first started the school, she knew he was one of the more popular guys. the one's a lot of girl wanted. he could have any girl he wanted in the school, and she was just this plain jane among the beautiful blondes. the older man had hit a sensitive spot in her and she had no idea how to respond or if she should even respond to begin with. the man pulled down at her hair as she bit down on her lip to prevent herself from making any noise, "i asked you a question, answer it." she squeaked, shaking her head. no, she didn't understand. she didn't understand why the older man seemed so convinced that she was just a mistake. that she was just another notch in colton's bed. she didn't understand why she didn't deserve him or how she was a mistake. she didn't understand why mr. moore felt this way about her when she has done nothing wrong. the man has never even laid eyes on her, and yet he was judging her and making accusations. was she really a slut? maybe, but she didn't think so.
she didn't fall for his charms or his looks. at least, not at first. in fact, she had hated his guts. she hated everything he stood for and everything he was. she hated his behaviour and the way she treated women. but the more time she spent apart from yelling at him, the more she realized just how much she missed arguing with him. she didn't love him for anything other than the fact that he was him and not just some stuck up popular guy. he changed her life. she was a happier person, that much was obvious. she didn't whine and moan about how much she missed zooey. okay, well, occasionally she did. but she didn't constantly walk around with a forced smile on her face like it was the hardest thing to do. colton loved her when no one else would and he believed that she could make it big while everyone else told her to give up her dreams. she was jolted back into reality when she saw mr. moore's raised hand, eyes immediately shut tight, bracing for the slap that was about to come down across her cheek, but before that could happen, colton's voice rang out. now she knew why he had never mentioned his father. she understood now. she might not necessarily know all the reasons why, but she knew one of them, and this one was enough reason for chloe to understand where colton was coming from. it had been hard to understand when she came from a seemingly perfect family. but now she had her own family. or she will when colt and herself were ready for it. which might not be a while. the house was perfect for their own little family. it wasn't much, but it was their's. it was home. it was not the best of neighbourhoods, but everyone had to start somewhere right? and she was willing to start anywhere as long as colton was there with her every step of the way.
relief washed over her, though, when her husband burst through their house door, cringing slightly at his use of swear words. in a matter of seconds, colton had gotten the man's hand off her arm and hair with a few feet distance in between. she shrank back when mr. moore spoke again, biting down harshly as the older man emphasized the world "mistake," her teeth piercing through the skin of her lower lip. she could taste the copper on her tongue, but her teeth didn't let up. her eyes widened, his hands are going to do what now? chloe did not want her husband in jail. even if it was to protect her. she didn't need him killing anyone for her. she just wanted him by her side. just as simple as that. she didn't need him playing the big role and teach the other person a lesson or giving them a taste of their own medicine. she just needed his reassurance and he wouldn't be able to give her that if he was behind bars with no sense of privacy when they converse. chloe shrieked, flinching when colton sent a punch to his father's face, taking a step forward, her hand frozen in air, wanting to stop him from doing anything violent. that man was his father after all. however, with one final blow the the stomach, the older man took the warning and began to leave, muttering his own threats. she licked her dry lips, erasing any traces of blood that she had caused as she looked up at colton. she closed her eyes, arm crossed over her stomach as she leaned into the kiss on her forehead, silent for a few seconds before sighing. she shook her head, "i-i'm fine. just..... i'm just a little shaken up." she admitted, leaning back slightly so she could look up at him. "you owe the swear jar a dime by the way, but i think this one time is okay." she whispered, trying to muster up a smile to lighten up the mood.

If we want to do it, the world is ours , if you just take my hand, we can take it RUBY W/ CHLOE , 1234 , SHORTS&WHITETSHIRT , NOW HE'S SCARED colton could have slammed his father down on every surface of the small household and delivered a punch to his face each time. he could have strangled the male with his bare hands or cut him up with the knife that was sitting on the kitchen counter but he took the high road as he saw the distressed look on his wife’s face. he was still hot and sweaty from the practice and as he stood there panting after having delivered a blow to his father’s stomach, he realized how different the two of them were. he questioned if this male was actually his biological father and secretly prayed that his mother had an affair and his real father was some humble, down to earth guy as colton had become since meeting his wife. nice jersey number, following in your old man’s footsteps.. said the older male while glancing at his son through narrowed eyes as colton’s eyes fell to stare at the number three that was looking back at him and he quickly shook his head while taking a small step back. the color was now drained from his face and his eyes were widened as he felt his fingers pulling at the fabric of the shirt with an attempt to get it off, anything that related to his father was tainted to him. his own lucky number was now horrifying to him but his father was standing up tall after having taken a moment to recovery. before colton could even register the fist coming for his own wife, he gave her a shove and took it to the eye with a yelp but his eyes suddenly narrowed and his irises darkened with anger. ”don’t you EVER touch her again!” [/b] he blurted out, shielding his wife away from the eyes of the male who was staring at her with hunger and distaste and colton was not sure which one was worst at this point. his father was known for being a monster, he had done disgusting things and had not even broken a sweat when performing them. colton had tried so hard to plant evidence, get the town to see who his father really was but he was just given awards for his fake acts of generosity and it sickened colton to the core. his eye was throbbing and he could already feel the bruise starting to form and so did his father who had a satisfying smirk on his face before colton launched his own fist and the smile was wiped away from his father’s face only to be plastered on colton’s, ”this is my home, you have no right coming in here and demanding anything to better your pathetic life. she is my wife, she will always be my wife and I do not need your acceptance for anything and I have never have. I don’t care what you think, I don’t care about you. you could die tomorrow and I wouldn’t care..i wouldn’t even blink.”[/b] his tone was darker than even colton had expected of himself but he was angered and he was hurt. the male reappearing in his life was not anticipated and it was not welcomed and yet, there he stood, in his own house. his father’s retreating form was a relief to him but colton knew it was not the end of the visits, or the sabotaging. he knew more was to come, he could sense that it was far from over and that caused his eyes to glaze over for just a moment. his hands were gripping the edge of the counter and turning white before one final deep breath let the anger wash out of his system and he turned to face his wife with worried eyes. his fingers reached up, brushing across the marked skin of her arm and he shook his head, ”you’re hurt.”[/b] he expressed without questioning it. his fingers moved to roll up the sleeve of her shirt further, and gave a low chuckle, ”I think I get a saving grace for this one..”[/b], not having the change to even put into the jar at this moment. with a glance down, he saw the number staring back at him again and quickly shed the basketball jersey and tossing it across the room with some momentum behind the throw, ”I’m sorry chlo..i’m sorry he came here, I don’t know how or why he did but he will never touch you again, I’ll kill him if he even speaks of your name to the wind.”[/b]. it was a threat that he would keep too and though colton was not a murderer, the pain that he had from his father’s past mistakes and the protective side that he had for chloe could combine to end the life of his absent father. right now though, colton knew that he needed to take care of his wife and his arms slowly wrapped around her, spinning her around so her back was to his chest. his lips found the top of her neck, trailing butterfly kisses down her pulse line as he wanted her heart to race for other reasons rather than being scared. ”g-d I hate him..”[/b] he whispered, forgetting that his lips were pressed to her skin, forgetting for just a moment that chloe knew nothing about his father and the crimes of the past. colton had yet to notice that his own body was now shaking as it was flushed against his wife’s smaller body, slowly back up until his back hit the counter and he gave a low sigh. ”b..baby, I’m so sorry..i’m so sorry that he was here..”[/b] and colton had no idea why he had suddenly made a reappearance but he was hellbent to find out now. his father did not even attend his mother’s funeral and was probably too busy celebrating with another woman while colton buried his mother and the only person that had been there for him was the woman that was wrapped in his arms and there was no way that he was going to let a screw up take away the only light in his life now. ”I love you chloe..”[/b], the kisses had ceased and his grip on her was just a little tighter in fear that she was going to turn around and walk out the door, but he needed to hear her repeat the words back to her to reassure him that she was staying and he would still have his light to guide him throughout life. [atrb=border,0,true][atrb=style, width: 400px; height: 200px;]if the skies get rough, i'm giving you all my love tagged: colton / wearing: hur / wc: 1261 / ps. <333 chloe had always known they were complete opposites. it wasn't hard to tell. anybody and everybody could tell that they had absolutely nothing in common. they couldn't be more worlds apart when it came to their personality. even their own families had differed. she had been part of the upper class when she was still in new york with parents whom loved both her and her sister like no tomorrow. she came from a family that ate dinner together and occasionally watched movies together on the living room couch. they were a family that went on vacations and had inside jokes. they were the kind of family that everyone envied. they were, essentially, the picture perfect family. yeah, her parents fought, but they were about petty things and most often they would have forgiven each other by the end of the night or the next morning. there was no lying, no cheating, no fraud, no tragic back story. just two people who fell in love, got married, and had twin daughters. twin daughters whom were, also, polar opposites. but the thing was, chlo seemed to be the kind of girl that was attracted to opposite people. zooey and colton were so alike that they might as well be personality twins. but despite the fact that they couldn't be more different from the young mrs. moore, everyone could tell that she would kill anyone and everyone for them. she may not seem like the type. hell, she isn't the type. she wouldn't even dare hurt a fly, let alone be capable of hurting another human being. but she was one hell of a protective person. if they asked her to do it, she'd do it. no questions asked. and there was no doubt in the girl's mind that zooey and colton would do the same for her.
however, now, she could see just how much their own families differed. she had never personally met colton's mother, but he often talked about her and how great of a woman she was. there was no doubt in her mind that she would have loved the older mrs. moore like a second mother. his father, on the other hand, was completely opposite of her own. her father got angry, yes. there were points where both her and her sister drove him up a wall, but he would never lay a hand on them. or anyone for that matter. she understood, now, why colton was the way he was. she couldn't necessarily say she understood why he felt the need to be the kind of person he was because she's never been in a family like this. she didn't have a father whom was so evil that they would lay a hand on their own son. and while the older man was also her complete opposite, it was obvious that colton was nothing like his father. at least not anymore. the colton she knew was not reflected in the older man's eyes or actions. she cringed slightly, glancing down colton's jersey number. that man was just asking for it. and while chloe would never approve of violence, it was obvious that the man was just baiting his son to do something. she, too, had been distracted by the number on her husband's jersey to see the fist coming towards her, but colton had pushed her aside and had taken the blow that she was supposed to receive, her shriek of surprise and shock escaping her lips. she glanced up at the older man that was looking at her as if he wanted to tie her up in bed and do whatever he wanted with her, but, also, at the same time, wanted to kill her. she whimpered behind colton's shielding, protective figure.
she shrank back while she watched colton launch himself at his father. she felt so useless and weak. but she was in too much of a shock to really know what to do, let alone think about ways to get the man out of her home. all she could do was stand there, frozen on her spot, heart racing a million miles a minute in fear. in fear that the older man would get her. in fear that the man would get what he wanted from her. that he would hurt her husband even more. her eyes widened at the words spoken by colton. she had never heard him sound so dark before and that every word that left his lips were every ounce of truth. she hated herself for it, but she had to admit she felt slightly bad for the older man. he was colton's father after all, and to hear his own son say that he didn't care if he died the next day.... well that was just harsh. but chloe just bit her lips and said nothing as the man retreated out the door. despite being in shock, she glanced over at colton worriedly, wondering what he would do with the rest of the anger he had pented up, but it seemed that he was able to diminish the fire before turning to her. she shook her head, "i'm okay. it's just a bruise" she told him even though the five very distinct finger marks on her arm was throbbing. she could barely feel a thing at the moment. she was still in shock and going through her adrenaline rush. she was sure that once it wore off, the pain would come rushing towards her. she reached up slightly, her thumb brushing the bruise around his eye, "i think yours is worst." she mumbled before caressing his cheek lovingly.
she watched him toss his probably now hated jersey on the floor, desperately wanting to just pick it up and throw it in the wash, but she stayed where she was, shaking her head, "he's not worth it colt. what would i do if you were in jail?" she asked, pursing her lips. she couldn't live without him. and she did not need him killing a man for her only to be behind bars while she was on the other side. she leaned back against him with a sigh, tilting her head slightly so he could have a better access to her neck, gasping quietly in pleasure as he kissed it. his breath tickled her skin as he spoke, but she kept her mouth shut as he expressed his apologies to her. she could feel him shaking behind her. she sighed, closing her eyes for a second, feeling the way he gripped her tighter as if she would run away. she opened her eyes again, struggling slightly to turn her body around so that they pressed chest to chest instead of back to chest, her body leaning down on his because his own weight was supported by the counter. she looked up into his eyes, a small smile on her face before dropping a ghost of a kiss on his lips, "don't be sorry baby. it wasn't your fault. you couldn't have known. no real damage is done." she murmured, dropping another light kiss on his lips, wrapping her arms around his bare waist, "i love you no matter what. nothing is going to change my mind, so don't you forget that." she told him, this time pressing her lips to him for a few seconds longer for reassurance before pulling back slightly. "in the meantime, you should shower because you smell real bad baby." she teased with a smile, "and i'll boil an egg for that black eyes of yours."

If we want to do it, the world is ours , if you just take my hand, we can take it RUBY W/ CHLOE , 1222 , SHORTS , FADAFD HE'S STILL FREAKED the way that his father was looking at chloe was sickening, physically disgusting to colton and it just made him that much more angry. it fuelled him further and he would not put it past his father to be doing it on purpose, needing a reason to get his son riled up and full of emotion just to drop some business proposition on him. colton was meant to be the heir of the company that his father ran but when he cut ties with his father after his mother’s death, colton renounced that title and everything that came with it. it was why he was living in such a small house as opposed to the mansion that his father resided in but that did not bother him anymore. when he had his mother, it was relaxing to be in confide to a place where she was close to him, right at his fingertips and just a shout away. now it was all about chloe and how close she was to him and she was close enough to touch at this moment. he wanted to make sure she was okay but colton knew that he showed too much emotion for the girl already, proved to his father that chloe was his weakness and was everything needed to get what his father wanted from him—a son. it was something that colton refused to be but with the leverage that was written on his father’s face, the secret was figured out and the code was cracked. well i have to say that you did a nice job son, she’s quite beautiful.. his father’s voice held a dream tone to it that caused colton’s eyes to narrow, he could almost hear the pedophilic tone in his voice and colton’s jaw clenched, ”don’t. don’t even think of her like that, don’t even talk about her to anyone, don’t look at her, and get the fuck out of this house!” [/b] and colton was not going to ask again. he had enough of this male in his life and wished that he had the cruelty to just end his life but his father was not even that cruel and he was sure that he did not have it in him to kill chloe. his father had a way of messing with people’s emotions and minds, tearing them apart until they surrender and being a big business owner would do that. he knew that his father was doing everything legal in the terms of the company but there were parts of his job that confused colton but by no means intrigued him. that was the world that he left behind and his new world was now behind him, cowering for her life. he waited until his father’s form was completely gone before turning to look at chloe. his expression changed instantly and his eyes flooded with tears that he had to blink back. he reached for her arm in order to inspect the bruise, his fingers running a ghost touch across it, sighing softly as he felt her touch beneath his eye and he leaned into it. chloe knew exactly what to say and what to do to get his emotions down and he was relieved by that because if she had not been here, his father would have been in worse condition and he would be feeling even more guilty than he already did. the male that had been there for a few moments ago was not him at all. he was not that violent, angry male that had punched his own flesh and blood, he was this male, trying to comfort his wife who was hurt by the very male that he shared genes with. ”what did he say to you chloe?...did he do anything besides this?..”[/b] and although colton did not actually want to know, he had to have his worries pushed aside and only the honest truth would do that. he did not imagine that his father had touched her in anyway as it appeared that there were no marks, her clothes were not ripped, she was standing and conscious, though in a little bit of a state of shock. colton knew first hand what his father’s words could do though and that was what mattered more to him at this moment, ”don’t even think about what he said is true, whatever it was. he likes to get into people’s heads, fuck around and make you want to just kill yourself to escape the feelings that you get of guilt and nostaligia.”[/b] and colton knew that one first hand as well. he had been his father’s favorite toy, trying to brainwash him to turn colton against his mother but it never succeeded no matter how hard the male tried. ”it’s nothing.”[/b] and though his eye stung, it was not his biggest worry and it was not going to be a worry at all. he would have a mark, that was for certain but it was a battle scar that he would wear proudly, knowing he protected his wife from a monster of a human. ”you would….come visit me? though jail would be awful since i’m such a pretty boy..”[/b] he grinned, wondering if her innocent mind could get what he was going for. he had not even noticed that his body was shaking until he had turned her around to have her back against his chest. he could barely keep his head straight to run a line of kisses down her neck, grinning against her skin as he heard the moan, ”someone is enjoying this..”[/b] and he knew now that it was not just him. her skin, her lips, her touch, even her voice was relaxing and he was already starting to feel more like himself once more, but he gave a low sigh as she began to turn her body. he did not want her to see him like this, shaken and scared, when he should be the stronger of the two—emotionally at least. he was supposed to be able to handle anything but one visit from his father and he was a puddle of a water at her feet. ”should have. I stopped having someone watch him when mom died…shouldn’t have been so stupid.”[/b] because at least they would have had a warning that the monster was back in town and out of jail himself, something that he was not going to mention to chloe yet. her kiss caused him to freeze, his muscles tightening at his grip loosened on her, it was just the thing that he needed to fully calm down, ”good cause i can’t imagine my life without you anymore. you are everything to me chloe…”[/b] and that was the truth. he nodded and reluctantly dropped his hands from her waist, releasing her so that she had the ability to do whatever she wanted, ”coach pushed us extra hard today, got our rival game coming up. you going to be my own personal cheerleader?”[/b] he asked, moving a piece of hair from her face and tucking it behind her ear. ”an egg?”[/b] he questioned with a raise of his eyebrow but gave her a departing kiss before heading off down the hall to take a shower, needing to wash everything off from the practice sweat to his father’s visit. [atrb=border,0,true][atrb=style, width: 400px; height: 200px;]if the skies get rough, i'm giving you all my love tagged: colton / wearing: hur / wc: 1037 / ps. he shouldn't be! it was safe to say that chloe never ever wanted to have another encounter with colton's father again. once was enough. she knew why he had kept that man far away from her. she hadn't understood then because colton never ever really said anything about his father, but now she knew. at least part of it. she knew what kind of man he was. and he was the kind of man she never ever wanted to be around again. the look he was giving her was enough to make her want to cower in the darkest of corners at the other end of the continent. because she knew, that man was just as manipulative as the queen bee's in the world, the criminals behind bars, the murderers waiting for a trial, and the rapists that should have a death sentence. maybe she was just too kind in nature, and preferred to think about the greater good in everyone, but she never thought she would ever come across a man that would manipulate his own son's weakness to his advantage. call her naive, but she never thought it was possible for these kind of people to be alive. maybe she was just too hopeful. but her eyes widened in fear at the next words that the man spoke, at the way he said it. now, she would rather suffer through his violence than whatever was going on in that man's mind right now. she would rather be broken and battered than let the man have his way with her body by the sounds of his tone. as awful as that sounded. but it was true. because just the way the man was looking at her was enough to make chlo wan to run for the hills and never come back. and while a part of her could process that the man was looking at her this way was on purpose so he could get a reaction from his son, that didn't do anything to stop the uncoiling of fear in the pit of her stomach.
the fear that didn't go away even when the man was gone and it was just her and colton left. the disappearance of the man left nothing to quench the nausea out of her system. she knew he would be back. they both knew that his father would be back and even though she was safe now, it was the last thing that she felt. she knew that colt would never let his father lay another hand on her, but what if he wasn't there. what if it was like today and she was home first while he was still at practice? what if he was at work while she was home alone? he wouldn't be there to protect him from the man. but maybe she was just being paranoid. she was thinking of the worst case scenarios. and maybe she was even overestimating mr. moore's abilities. sure, she was safe. and if she wasn't, she'd improvise a weapon if worst comes to worst. she showed little of the fear she felt as she looked at colton though, trying to reassure him and calm his own nerves. he was less tense and it was apparent that her words were helping. she tried to put on a convincing grin on her face as she shook her head, "nothing that you need to worry about. it wasn't anything important." but she wasn't sure how true her own words were. maybe there was something that he needed to worry about because the older man's words kept ringing in the back of her head. she was "just another one of colton's sluts" he had said. that colton would grow tired of her and realize what a big mistake he's made. and while she didn't want to believe the man, she couldn't help herself. because these were the reoccurring doubts that she had. that colton really would grow tired of her one day.
but it was as if colton heard her own doubts. she chuckled, "i won't" she said, wondering if she really could do such a thing. his father had seemed pretty determined to get rid of her. she had a feeling that the things his father said to her was just a trial and that there were worst and bigger things to come. she chuckled though, shaking her head as she chastised "baby, if you swear any more, you won't have enough money for food." she knew it would be a while before he really stopped swearing. and if he was like her, he'd substitute swear words for something else. she knew she sounded funny when she said 'monkeys' every time she substituted it for a swear word, but at least she wasn't saying anything bad. she scoffed at colton with a roll of her eyes, "i am not sharing you with your cell mates. i don't know how safe that is." she grumbled with a pout. she couldn't imagine living a life with him behind bars. she would miss him too much. maybe even to a point that it would drive her to insanity. she smiled, "mmmm. maybe just a little too much." she said in response to his comment about her enjoying the kisses. in her defense, he knew all the places to kiss to make her knees buckle, and her neck was definitely near the top of the list. she sighed, shaking her head, "don't beat yourself up over this, baby. it was nothing." she reassured him, laying her hands on his toned chest and dropping a kiss to his collarbone. she grinned, "and you are everything to me, colt." she whispered, dropping yet another kiss onto his collarbone. she laughed, nodding at him, "of course i will. i'll even wear the uniform if you want me to." she told him, sending a wink his way. sure, she would not be wearing the school cheerleading uniform because she highly doubted they'd lend her one, but she could always create a makeshift one. her own design. she grinned cheekily at him, "an egg. it helps spread the bruise so it swells less and heals faster." she said before watching him retreat to his shower.

If we want to do it, the world is ours , if you just take my hand, we can take it RUBY W/ CHLOE , 1195 , TOWEL , AWWW. he was unsure of why those words had actually stung him but they did. they were married and they were meant to tell each other everything good or bad. he had told her something did not fit properly and she had told him when he looked a little too baggy of clothing. it was their relationship, they were honest with one another and he physically winced, looking down at his shoes and just nodded his head. it was all he could think to do, and not being told was worse because all he could do was make up the words that his father spoke to her. he could just picture how close his father’s lips were to hers, how much fire burned in his eyes when he spoke to his wife about something that apparently he had nothing to worry about. only, it was doing the complete opposite and his mind was only coming up with the worse words that his father had spoken to chloe and they were causing his fists to curl, his bit down fingernails were digging into the soft skin of his palm and leaving small crescent shaped indents to just add insult to injury now. colton, for once, had to bite his tongue and let his wife think that this was best for him and maybe that it was, but not knowing was driving him crazy but he could not imagine what actually knowing would be like. then he would be able to hear his father’s voice, imagine the words as she struggled to free her arm and he had to shake his head to get rid of the horrid thoughts from invading his mind anymore. ”just..dont’ dwell on them. don’t listen to them, put them out of your mind because whatever he says is not true. it’s all bu..crap” [/b], he had to stop himself from swearing, not wanting to displease his wife and put her into anymore distress with his foul language, yet another thing that was slowly changing about him. colton was unsure of his father’s intentions but he had to admit that he resented the fact that he had gone to practice instead of coming home earlier to be with her. he could have told her to run, protected her from anything that his father had been saying and keep her safe from harms way. instead, he had let his profession and his goals come above his wife and that was not something that he wished for. he loved her enough to skip basketball practice and it was a huge regret that he had not. the bad feeling that he had on the court had proved to be right and at least he had sped home in order to be by her side quicker, but not quick enough. her existence had been found out and what his father planned to use with the knowledge was what was scaring him. colton wasn’t sure if his father wanted chloe for himself, as colton had seen first hand in his father’s exploitation of young girls as well as taking a shine to his son’s own girlfriend, or if he wanted to get her out of the picture completely. either choice was not going to be an option and that was a silent promise that he made while standing infront of his wife, ”..i think this could be a get out of jail free card…type moment. he had his hands on you…he could have done anything, said anything…and i wouldn’t have been here…”[/b]. the truth spilled out as colton had never fully expressed the extent of his father’s indiscretions but they were vast and along the lines of taboo in this country. his father was not bad looking in the slightest and except for the dark look in his eyes could very well be passed for as innocent but colton knew the truth and he knew the power that his father had and it was not going to be used on himself or chloe, hell would freeze over before that happened. ”but you’re just my type…big and bulky guys aren’t exactly my flavor. you would deprive me of you?”[/b] he asked stepping closer to wrap his arms around her and pull her flush into his body. he needed to touch her, feel her warmth and know for certain that she was actually okay. his lips were now moving down her neck without any resistance in her part and his own resistance to temptations as she was too much to bear and it actually physically hurt him to be apart from her for too long. he almost went through withdraws when she was not around and now that she was in his arms, he was going to have a hard time letting her go. ”don’t say that..it wasn’t nothing. you don’t know him…you didn’t even get a glimpse of him.”[/b], his jaw tightening and his teeth clenching as the kissing ceased and his head picked up to turn her around quickly, ”i can’t..let anything happen to you chloe. i can’t..i’ll die if anything does.”[/b] and that anything was left open because even colton was clueless. giving her a light chuckle as she tried to break the dark tone to his voice, succeeding as he leaned down and pressed his lips to hers. ”hm..maybe save that for the bedroom, wouldn’t want the other cheerleaders knowing my fantasy”[/b] he winked before fully kissing her, nodding as he pulled back and she suggested the shower. it sounded like a good idea but the egg thing was a little strange, shaking his head, ”just serve it scrambled and i’ll cook the meat when i get out.”[/b]. his strides were quick as he entered the bathroom and shut the door behind him, leaning against it and rubbing at his eyes hoping that he would wake up and it would all be a dream. as his hands pulled away to reveal the bathroom surrounding him, colton realized that it was not a dream and it was something that he was going to have to deal with. he flipped the faucet on first and washed the drops of blood from his face, seeing a nice shiner developing under his eye and a small cut to his cheek. grumbling, colton turned his back to his reflection and started the water, stripped his clothes and stepped in. he stood in the shower for as long as he could before the steam was becoming too much and the heat was actually doing more harm than good. the water was shut off and the towel was wrapped around him as he stepped out of the bathroom with a cloud of steam following him down the small hallway, ”so about that breakfast dinner..”[/b] he grinned, holding onto the end of the towel and leaning against the island with a small smirk on his face, licking his lips as he looked her over—checking her out and checking for missed injuries. [atrb=border,0,true][atrb=style, width: 400px; height: 200px;]if the skies get rough, i'm giving you all my love tagged: colton / wearing: hur / wc: 1028 / ps. sooooo cute <3 chloe knew that by not saying anything to colton, he would only worry more. he'd think of all the worst possible things and make everything seem ten times worst because that was the kind of guy he was around her. everything was exaggerated. and while she could tell colton what his father said, she wasn't sure she wanted to. she knew they were in a trusting relationship and she told him everything. that's what they did. there were no lies between one another, but the thing was... she also knew that if she told colton what his father had actually said, he would only get riled up again and she really didn't want that. she didn't have to think too much into things to know how colton would react to things. it was true that they hadn't known each other for long. they've only known each other for less than a year, in fact. how could two people know everything about one another with such a short amount of time? really, chloe didn't know everything about her husband. today was a clear indication. but she could safely say that she knew colton better than anyone else. and she knew that if she relayed what his father had said to her, he'd go ballistic. maybe not ballistic, but he would be pretty angry. and riled up is not what she wanted him to do at the moment because he had been doing so well at calming down after his father left their house. "they're all forgotten, baby. his words mean nothing to me. only your's matter." she said, trying to convince the both herself and him at the same time. "so please wipe that kicked puppy look off your face and thinking of worst case scenarios. they were nothing bad, i promise." she mumbled, going on her tiptoes to kiss the creases of his forehead. her eyes lightened up as did her smile, "you didn't swear! she exclaimed, "i'm so proud. oh baby, you're doing so well."
she knew that she was just slightly overreacting, and probably looked rather silly for looking so happy that her husband hadn't swore. but she didn't care. she was just happy that he had saved himself in time. she didn't know what made her hate swear words so much, but she has hated them for as long as she could remember. every time someone swore, it just made her stomach feel queasy. and all she could do is cringe every time someone said a bad word. it wasn't that she was a prude or innocent and didn't want to hear the bad words. it was just that it made her physically unwell. plus, was it really necessary to swear? there were bigger, more meaningful words that could do much more harm than a simple f word. not that she could say she used much of that kind of vocabulary. she was perfectly content with sticking with the word monkeys. she pursed her lips as she looked up into colton's eyes, "could have, should have, would have.... they're all part of the past now, baby. they're all 'what if's'" she said softly, hands rubbing the side of his arms, "all that matters is that you got here when i needed you. you didn't let him get away with anything, and you were here for me when it counted." she reassured him. yeah, his father could have done a lot worst if colton hadn't come home from practice and decided to go eat out with his teammates instead. his father could have said a lot more hurtful words if he hadn't come home. but he was. he was there at the right time. sure, her head slightly ached from the way his father pulled at her hair, and she had finger marked bruises on her arms, but it wasn't anything that wouldn't heal. she was okay and still breathing. colton had prevented anything worst from happening, and she was forever thankful and grateful.
she chuckled, rolling her eyes at him, "oh? my colton has a type?" she asked with a raised eyebrow, a smirk tugging at the corner of her lips. "if i deprived you of me, that would make me too heartless." she muttered, sticking her tongue out at him playfully, letting him pull her closer. because to be honest, she needed this proximity just as much as he did. being wrapped in his arms made her felt safer. like nothing in the world could harm her and that he would always protect her from anything and everything bad in the world. and every second she spent without him by her side just made her ache more and more for any sort of contact with him- whether it be just a simple hug, a handhold, or his arms draped over her shoulders protectively like he was showing her off to the entire world. she wrapped her arms around him, placing her ear to his chest, listening to his heartbeat, "nothing will happen to me colton, i promise." she said softly, the sound of his heartbeat like a soft lullaby to her ears. she giggled, "the bedroom? mmm... good luck trying to rip it off me." she whispered to his ear with a playful smile. she chuckled with a roll of her eyes, "fine, i'll just scramble the eggs and get you an ice pack instead." she said in defeat as she pulled out a pain to make the eggs, desperately hoping that she won't burn it this time. she was a god awful cook, and she knew that, but scrambled eggs were easy right? right. she sang softly to herself as colton showered, keeping the heat of the stove on a medium so she was sure she wouldn't burn the eggs. she turned at the sound of her voice, seeing him look her over in nothing but a towel wrapped around his waist. her cheeks flushed at the sight, and she had to lick her suddenly dry lips, "colton! you couldn't put on some clothes first?" she asked, quickly turning away even though there was nothing under the towel that she hasn't seen before.

If we want to do it, the world is ours , if you just take my hand, we can take it RUBY W/ CHLOE , 1075 , TOWEL , AWWW. the lesser of the two evils would be that colton would be aware of everything that his father said but maybe that would make things worse at the same time. he had to try not to think about it but the more he did that, the more his mind went into thinking about it. he had to keep his cool though, let it appear to be rolling off his back while silently protesting the idea of his father being there and wondering what security system he could install into the walls of the house. there was no way that chloe was going anywhere by herself anymore for at least some time because his worries were still high and that made him slightly paranoid. pressing a kiss to the side of her head while she was still wrapped in his arms, he nodded as his cheek brushed against the side of her head. ”good. and you know that I love you and that you are my entire world and he will never go near you again as long as I’m around…” [/b], his voice was muffled as he dipped his head down to rest his lips against the skin of her neck. ”I can only think the worst when you don’t tell me anything…but they were something chloe and that’s not okay with me. he should not be able to even breathe in your direction, I didn’t even know that he was released..”[/b] and now he was musing to himself. he let things slip out pretty fast and sighed as he finally spoke the truth, the man had been in jail and colton had put him there but he had never been informed of his release. [colo=] ”..yea i’m learning..”[/color][/b] he muttered, looking away and unwrapping his arms from around his waist. he changed a lot for chloe, but cursing was not something that was going to be so easy to change. his personality was not a hard thing as soon as he let her into his heart and into his life, but his habits were still being reformed. he was trying to change for her and he was, one step at a time, but he was never going to lose his protective streak, he was still going to be judgemental and he was still going to be a bit bossy. those things were not going to change because it helped him be the leader that he was destined to be. he had the skills and though he was a little jagged, he was working his way up and starting with his own basketball team as he was a large contender for the position of captain. ”what ifs are what makes me think. what if I never met you? what if you just thought of me as a big, dumb jock? what if my life had never been changed for the better…”[/b], he leaned down, spinning her around to face him and pressed his lips to hers. the what ifs were important to him because they reminded him of what he had to lose and what he had gained in his life and it was not something that he would soon be forgetting. ”no. I will never let him touch you again…he won’t even get within a foot of you”[/b] he whispered against her lips before capturing them with his once more. it was a source of comfort as he took a step closer and pressed his body into hers. she was a bit shorter than him but her body fit perfectly against his as if she was his own personal tetris piece. ”are you that shocked? of course I got a type…usually of the female variety, brunette with light streaks in her hair, brown eyes, beautiful smile, killer laugh..”[/b], his charm coming into play as he chuckled, tucking a strand of the described hair behind her ear and out of her face. he grinned at her, shaking his head as his hand came around to the bottom of the strand before running his finger across his jawline, ”I don’t think you could ever be heartless..”[/b] and it was a trait that he wished that he could acquire. if there was one thing that he wanted to rub off on him in his wife’s personality, it was her ability to be so open and caring. he raised an eyebrow to the tongue and reached up to grab it but she was too quick, his eyes narrowed playful, ”next time my pretty…next time..”[/b] he chuckled before leaning down and kissing her forehead. he had to shower now that he had his father’s touch on him, the number had touched his skin and he could feel his chest burning with either lust, desire or anger. he nodded to her as she assured him but he did not feel secure about his wife’s well being but he was assured for the night at least as he was not leaving the house and neither was she. the two of them had each other for the days end, but he had to let her go for a few minutes. ”right off your body baby.”[/b] he winked before turning on his heels after giving her a squeeze of her body. his arms dropped from her waist and he strolled out of the kitchen and headed down the hallway. he kicked at the jersey as he passed by it, throwing it into the dark corner of the hallway while making his way into the kitchen. he relaxed as soon as the water rushed over his sore muscles and as much as he wanted to stay in the shower, or call chloe to join him, he knew that dinner was going to be ready soon. he had wrapped the towel around his body as he stepped out of the bathroom and looked around for the sight of his wife. her back was to him and he gave a wolf whistle, ”might burn the stove looking that hot..”[/b]. she turned around to face him and chuckled to her reaction, ”nope, couldn’t be bothered. come on baby, let’s make dinner…”[/b], checking to make sure that the towel was secure before walking over and wrapping his arms around her, his lips finding her jawline, ”bacon, sasguage…”[/b], his whispered into her ear, his husky breath rushing across her skin, ”what else?’[/b] he asked before pressing a kiss to her jawline and grinning against her skin while his hands found her hips. [atrb=border,0,true][atrb=style, width: 400px; height: 200px;]if the skies get rough, i'm giving you all my love tagged: colton / wearing: hur / wc: 1246 / ps. heh ly there were two kinds of protectiveness. the first one being that the person was willing to do whatever it takes to protect those they loved. and the second kind of protectiveness could be overbearing and just borderline possessive. chloe knew better than anyone that colton was protective of her. overly so maybe, but she knew that it was with good intentions. she was grateful, of course. it was nice knowing that someone cared so much about you that they would do anything to protect you. everyone needed someone like that in their life. and she was lucky enough to call colton that person. and she was that person for her twin sister zooey. however, colton sometimes worried just too much for his own good. this was just one time. and while she wasn't particularly fond of being manhandled by her husband's father, she knew how to take care of herself. plus, she was smart enough to not go near that man again. she would be a complete idiot to approach the man a second time. she would be extra cautious, of course. still, she knew it was going to be a while before colton will let her go anywhere alone. she loved him beyond death, and while she didn't particularly like being constrained and restricted, colton was still her husband and he was only acting this way because he worried about her. he was only going to go through such measures because that's how he expressed his care. it was how he let her know just how much he loved her. and she knew, for certain, that she couldn't take his protectiveness for granted. even if she craved for her freedom, she knew that she will need his protectiveness one day. so she was going to appreciate it while it was still there. and on the bright side, at least this meant she would be able to spend more time with him. it was so difficult for either of them to find the time to sit down and relax, let alone go on dates or even just take a walk at the park. she missed him and his father's visit gave them a reason to spend more time together.
she sighed, leaning into the kiss he placed on the side of her head, glancing up at him, "i know baby. i know you won't let him hurt me." she trusted him completely. she knew he wasn't going to always be there, but she believed him because she knew he kept his promises. she knew what kind of man he was. he was her own prince charming, after all. "he won't and they were nothing you should be concerned about. he said some things that i don't believe, and that's that." his father's words rang loud and clear in her head. her insecurities believed every word the man breathed out. mainly because it was what she had been worried about beneath it all. but the greater part of her. the one who knew her husband like the back of her hand, knew better than to believe those meaningless words. she, of all people. should know better than that. he did, after all, marry her. and everyone knows how afraid of commitment teenage boys were. and she had snagged one that was a hundred and ten percent committed and devoted to her. she grinned up at him after his rhetorical "what if" questions, answering them anyway, "there's no way that you wouldn't have met me. if you didn't meet me now, you would have met me eventually. fate makes everything happen for a reason." she reasoned, a grin still upon her face before chuckling, "and need i remind you, i did think you were a big dumb jock among many other things." his first impression wasn't exactly the most impressive. nor were the next few impressions. but she had warmed up to him unknowingly and fell fast and hard. she kissed him back, the warmth of his lips spreading down to the tips of her toes and leaving tingles. "i know baby. especially since you have your mind set on not having him near me." he was a stubborn one, just as much as she was. when he set his mind on something, he was going to make it happen. she welcomed his close proximity as he tucked her body against his. she loved the way he fit just right. the way her head was just high enough to be tucked against the crook of his neck or the way her body fit snugly against his like it was meant to be. he was her missing piece of the puzzle.
she glanced up at him with a pretend surprised and playful angry look, "and who might that girl be? there's a lot of girls in school that fit that description..." she trailed off for a second before raising an eyebrow at him, "wait... did you say usually of the female variety?" she asked, the corner of her lips twitching with a held back giggle, "baby, is there something i should know?" she teased, letting out some coughs to cover her laughter. her innocent look returned as he told her that she could never be heartless. she frowned, "of course i can!" she said defiantly, pouting, "i think" she added in a mumble. she sighed, her frown ceasing, "i could pretend?" she asked with a tinge of hopefulness in her voice, but to be honest, even she didn't believe she could be heartless. she was not the cold twin. there was not a mean bone in her body. unless provoked, but even that took a lot of provoking. she giggled, her laughter echoing in their small home as he tried to take hold of her tongue, "never!" she exclaimed childishly. her cheeks flushed at the image of him ripping the cheerleading uniform off her body, teeth chewing on her lower lip lightly as she watched him disappear into the bathroom. she rolled her eyes, making her way to the abandoned jersey. she picked it back up, folding it neatly and tucking it in her pile of clothes. she knew he didn't want to see it, and she didn't want a mess in the house, so it was a win win situation. satisfied, she made her way back to the kitchen to prepare their dinner despite the fact that she was a horrible cook. she jumped at the wolf whistle, turning around to find that her husband was only covered by a flimsy towel. her cheeks burned hotter than the stove as her heart raced. she turned back around to the stove to hide her blush and make sure she wasn't burning anything. she was hyper aware of the fact that her nearly naked husband was making his way over to her. her breath hitched as he came up close behind her. her heart rate skyrocketed as he whispered into her ear, her breath going shallow. god, he wasn't even saying anything particularly dirty and she was already turned on by the sound of his voice and proximity. she could vaguely hear him asking her what else, but at the moment, her mind was completely blank. she couldn't concentrate on anything with the way his lips were lingering against her jawline and his butterfly touches against her hips. she moaned, "b-baby what are you doing to me? i can't... concentrate with you holding me like this.... i'll burn the food."
