Nick knew this was going to be tough on her, but he didn't want her to feel trapped... at least not any more than he knew they were at the moment. But he knew damned well that they'd all be safe there and that was what mattered to him most of all. They would deal with whatever emotions ran rampant in the building as they cropped up and Nick would be there to assure her and reassure her every step of the way. He wanted her to know that he was there for her and that he'd do whatever he could to ease the uneasy feeling's she'd no doubt have, but he had a damned good feeling that she already knew that.
He had to laugh a little bit at her comment about doing lock-ins with smores around the lantern fire. "Oh, I like that one. I might make it mandatory for bonding among operatives. I'm sure they'd all just love that idea." He grinned at her. And just for kicks, he might actually try to tell the lot of them that it was something they were all going to commit to once a month just to see the looks on their faces for it all. He couldn't imagine that Zander would be too keen on it for one and he knew that Kira might try to skin someone alive for the mere mention of it. But it'd be damned worth it in the end if he got a laugh out of it. She reached out to touch his hand and reassure him that she wasn't going to complain about being there with him either and he couldn't help but twine his fingers with hers and brush a kiss along the back of her hand with a smile in her direction. He wasn't against letting the guys know that Yulia was off limits to them in a major way. Not in the least.
Nick moved off towards the side of the room and the pile of blankets they had gathered and started sorting through them with Yulia as she asked her question about whether or not Kira was going to wind up being there. He was actually quite pleased with the fact that Yulia had taken a shining to Kira for the simple fact that he knew damned well that he'd never have to worry about her level of safety with the other woman. Kira was about as lethal as they came. She knew her stuff and he knew he could trust her with Yulia. "I don't think she'll be making an appearance." He said in all honesty. "Kiernan has a fall out shelter on his property that I don't doubt they're nice and safe in even now." He told her. "Either that or they're just... all over each other..." he grimaced and shook his head.

Yulia needed to find something to do besides think about everything going on, she knew if she thought too much about it she’d just end up making herself freak out in the end so she tried to think about something else. Knowing Nick was there and that he wouldn’t let anything happen to her went a long way toward making her feel safer and knowing that there was somewhere she could hide away for a minute or two also helped. She could handle this one step at a time and they would all be safe come morning when they could find out if they could leave the safety of this place or not at that time. She would make sure to let Nick know if it ever reached a point where she felt she couldn’t deal with it though there wouldn’t be much they could do about that but at least he’d know.
She smiled when he laughed at her joke and laughed a little herself at his answer before nodding. ”Who wouldn’t love that? Just don’t tell them I suggested it…they can think it was all your idea.” she said knowing it probably wouldn’t accepted well and amused that he would consider it even as a joke to mess with them but figuring if they wanted to egg someone for the joke or something it might as well be Nick not her. It would probably be funny to see their reactions to being told they would be doing a lock in bonding thing with lantern fire and smores, worth at least a laugh for just the looks on their faces. She couldn’t help smiling as he linked their fingers and kissed the back of her hand, the little gesture meaning a lot to her for its simplicity and the fact that he thought to do it. She waited to see if there was a moment of being nervous or wanting to pull away or something but there wasn’t one and she hadn’t actually expected to feel that way with him.
Following him over to the piled up blankets and things she helped him sort through and getting it ready to lay out for sleeping areas. She was worried about the woman she considered to be a friend since the storm was something that everyone needed to make sure they were safe during. She had a thought that maybe Kira was with Kier right now and the two of them seemed quite capable of taking care of themselves so she shouldn’t worry but she would. Hearing his answer she nodded glad to hear they would have a shelter to be in together then laughing a little at his added on part about them just being all over each other. ”Well if they’re doing that second thing hope they’re in the fallout shelter where they’re safe for it?” she said not bothered by knowing other people did the stuff that freaked her out as long as she wasn’t given details or having to see it or things like that.

He chuckled when she said that she'd let all of his operatives think it was his idea. "Oh, I see how it is. You'll suggest it, but you want me to take the fall." He said, grinning at her to let her know that he was entirely joking in the moment. He could just see how pleased they'd wind up being with his suggestion that they all get to know one another just a little bit better. Lord help them all. He could definitely think of a few of them that would probably fight that prospect tooth and nail just through the idea that they might have to share things about themselves. Some people liked their anonymity a little too much. Especially people in his line of work.
Nick worked along with her as they talked, laying the blankets out and getting them set up for everyone else that'd be staying there. He laughed a little at what Yulia said about Kiernan and Kira being safely locked away in the fallout shelter while they did what they were, undoubtedly, doing. "Maybe we can send them to their fallout shelter every time they wanna do something like that." He muttered mostly to himself. He didn't want to think about two of his friends and co-workers going at it at the moment. It was why he didn't want to hear about Zander and Biz's sex life, for crying out loud. And what the hell was with all of his operatives linking up together? Good lord.
