[style=font-family: helvetica; font-size: 13px; letter-spacing: 6px; text-transform: uppercase; text-align: center;]BEE FULL NAME: dakota soria o'connor ALIAS: kota DATE OF BIRTH: 01-07-1995 AGE: seventeen OCCUPATION: student SEXUALITY: straight PLAY BY: melissa benoist HIGH SCHOOLER [style=background-color: #65727A; border: 10px solid #65727A; font-family: georgia; letter-spacing: 10px; color: white; text-align: center;]all about me D [/style]daddy's little girl. this is very much a typical cliche. dakota was an unplanned child for her parents and she was one of the main reasons why her father had cleaned up his act. isacc was your typical bad boy, times ten. he inherited alcoholism from his own father and let his 'don't give a shit' behavior run most of his life. when he got his first love, molly, pregnant he decided a change was needed. he couldn't stand the thought of being a bad father as well as the thought of any of his children living the screwed up lifestyle he had. when dakota was born, she had isacc wrapped around her finger. everything he did from that point on was for her and she appreciated, for the most part. as kota grew up, she could see little hints that her father hadn't fully changed. from the stories that she's heard, she knew part of his past was still there. like, when he would drink and his anger would pop out of no where. or when he decided to stay in the stripping business and became the owner of the local club. those were obvious signs that she could push aside but there was one she couldn't ignore. his overprotective nature. it's one thing to say that a dad is always protective of his little girl but isacc blows it out of proportion. he tells her what she can and cannot do from the clothes she wears to the people she hangs out with. he is also known for showing up at her school unannounced just to check up on her. boys are totally out of the question but no matter the mistakes her father as made or his overprotective nature, Kota loves her father and would do anything he told her to. mainly because she is scared of him too. A altruistic. she has a natural instinct when it comes to the welfare of others. no matter who it is, dakota is always concerned about others. even for those she doesn't take a liking too or people that are mean to her. if she see's someone hurt or upset, she is always the first to walk up and make sure everything is alright. this is a trait she learned from her mother and one that she stays true to. she unselfishly helps others. it's not for her own interest or something she gets a kick out of. it's just her nature to help others when they are at their lowest and she can become very devoted when helping someone. she doesn't like to see other's hurt or unsatisfied. she is very willing to do just about anything to help someone out. in a sense, this makes her very obedient. K kool aid. this is definitely not a word that would describe her but describes her weird obsession. as a child, she grew up drinking whatever her parents gave her. she was not in the least bit picky with her beverages but once she was introduced to kool aid, nothing else could prepare. dakota tried to be stubborn and refuse water or milk with dinner but she was some how always obedient with her parents. they were always pleased when her glass went from full to empty but little did they know. whenever her parents walked out of the room, she would pour her beverage into the dogs bowl. she would wait until her parents brought out the kool aid to drink anything. her parents were hesitant but when she obeyed them, they couldn't say no. Kota went as far as coloring her hair with kool aid in middle school. she would never forget the day her father took her to the salon to cut off the ends that she ruined. Now in high school, she was still hooked. She made sure there was always a pitcher in the fridge at all times and bought individual packets to put in her water bottles that she brought to school. But it's not like her room in painted all different colors for all the different flavors or that she brings up the beverage in every conversation. It's just a habit she has. O outgoing is a bit of a understatement. spazz is a more extreme way to describe her. she is full of all kinds of energy that she mostly lets out when she's comfortable around people. at first she might be hesitant to jump on the band wagon but once a connection has been made, there's not holding back for kota. she loves to do things off impulse and can be very spontaneous. this trait keeps her going and keeps others intrigued but her energy can be a bit much. she may say or do things without thinking that tend to make her look childish. this side of her clearly shows her optimism and her need to please others. you will most likely see her using her outgoing behavior with others in a sense that she likes to drag people into random but fun things to do. she can't really sit in one place for too long because she gets antsy and she tends to get bored easily. T theater. the one place where dakota lets out most of her untamed energy. acting and singing are the two main things that make her feel comfortable. her high school theater is like her home and everyone involved with her on the stage is like her second family. kota has a hard time expressing her feelings and the best way for her to let off steam is threw acting. the plus side is that no one realizes the realism behind it all and doesn't call her out on the things she hides from everyone. the happiness that dakota has for theater is like the happiness a witch has in a broom factory. there is not separating the two and she very much consumes her life with her talent. not to mention all the acting and singing aids to her obsession with fictional stories and their characters, it's her way of drowning out the real world but its only so long before she realizes that life isn't a fairy tale. A achy breaky heart. probably one of the best ways to describe dakota's love life. she has never had a broken heart, let alone a boy friend but the lack of experience she has when it comes to relationships tears her to pieces. she is so afraid of upsetting her father that she refuses to mention any boys around him. even if they are just friends. though, kota doesn't have the easiest time attracting the opposite sex anyways. it wasn't until this past summer that she really grew into her looks but before that she was dorky looking, not only because she looked a child but because of the clothes he father allowed her to wear to school. talk about never wearing sleeveless shirts or shorts that went up higher than her mid thigh. her personality wasn't exactly a turn on either. who really wants to be seen walking around with a theater nerd that is mainly considered one of the guys, kota has, of course, had crushes though. she has a bad attraction to guys she can't have or ones that wouldn't even look her way. bad boys are a heart killer and at seventeen years old, dakota is tired of living under daddy's rules. she's a hopeless romantic that just wants to fall head over heels with someone and finally lose her virginity but she could never find the courage to do so. |
