There she was, the beautiful long-legged adult brunette Holland laid across her rich long twin-sized bed with her dark blue sock-covered feet perched over the foot rail of her bed and she was occupied with reading a very interesting novel of A Winter's Tale written by William Shakespeare. Or at least she was doing her best to distract herself from a sudden flashback. It appeared very randomly like all of her previous ones had in the past few years. She frowned and gingerly closed her eyes at the jolt of it.

"I miss her, Daddy, I really miss Mummy." a pre-adolescent youthful Holland was sobbing over the nightmare she had regarding her mother's highway death. Her charmingly tall and loving father David was there, sitting on her bed and holding onto his mourning and emotionally fragile daughter close to him. "I know, sweetness. I really miss her too. Anita was a very blessed wife." he assured Holland as he kept hugging her, stroking small comforting circle patterns on her little back.

Holland still sobbed in her father's arms, clinging onto him as David tried to wash away her nightmare. He knew it had been four heart-breaking years without his wife, and he also knew how fragile his daughter seems to be. He wouldn't blame her for missing her mother. Quite frankly, he misses Anita just as adequately much.

David gently pulled from the hug long enough to cup Holland's little cheeks in his muscular hands and planted a sweet soft kiss on her forehead, and allowed her to pull him back into his paternal hug. "Sorry I woke you up, Daddy." she sniffed, closing her eyes afterwards.

David shook his head while a calming weak smile formed on his face and was thumbing his daughter's back with soothingly thumb-rubs. "No, honey. I don't mind this. I've always said you can wake me up and talk to me anytime you have another bad nightmare. Okay, Holly sweetie?"

Holland nodded when she felt her father's narrow chin rest upon her little forehead and put her head upon his broad shoulder, wiping her nose with the last ounce of her nightly sobbing away. "Okay. Thank you, Daddy. I just want Mummy back." David finally pulled from the hug and helped tucked his daughter back into bed, pulling the dark red blankets right up to her little chest, leaning over her bed and giving her another gentle fatherly kiss on her forehead.

"I know, sweetheart. But she will always be in your heart...everywhere you go. She will always be right there." he tickle-rubbed her tiny chest to point out her heart, and Holland gave him a tired small smile and nodded her head. "I know, Dad. I'll keep remembering that. Thank you, I love you Daddy." she said with a tired yawn following afterward.

Her father smiled and stroked her little shoulder gently, reciting back to her, "I love you too, Holland sweetness. You're welcome. You wake me up again if you have another bad dream. I'll be there to talk to you for as long as you need to." His daughter's only response was reaching her hand up to his on her shoulder and smiling at him before she nodded off back to sleep. David grinned and when he was certain she was sound asleep, he exited her bedroom and went back to his to catch up on his own sleep.

The only thing that snapped Holland out of her flashback was that same muscular and sickening hand touching her face. She jolted out of the memory and winced when she realized her father David was hovering very creepily above his beautifully-grown adult daughter. "Oh my god...!" she hissed under her breath from the sudden shock. She stared up at him and subsequently tossed her novel into the wicker basket beside her bed and started backing up to the fine headboard of her bed. "What the hell are you doing in here, David?"

David glared down at his unnerved daughter and started sliding his hand down the side of her lean neck, and growled lowly, "It is father to you, young lady. And that is no way to speak to your father, is it?'

Holland choked on whatever harsh words she wanted to say when her father forced her to wallow in that fear. David's hand ended up touching the rim of her belt and almost up her dark blue blouse after. She was nearly merciful at this rate. "Please, don't." but before her father could get anymore painful sexual satisfaction from her, her alarm clock did go off. She had to get ready for work at the hospital. 'Saved by the clock.' she thought in relief.

Her abusive father sighed and submissively let his daughter go and Holland bolted up from her bed and coldly snapped at him, "I don't need to feel like soiled goods before my shift, thank you very much!" then she went over to the connected bathroom in her bedroom and avoided looking at her father in his creepy bluish-hazel eyes and David was disappointed in her attitude. Before she could slam the door on his face, he caught it just in time and quietly held it open, looking amused as he watched her get undressed. She almost undid her dark blouse when she peeked at the mirror and quickly folded her arms over chest and glared a dead one in the reflection. "Oh my fucking god, David! Get the fuck out of my bathroom!"

He wasn't bothered at all by his daughter's outburst. David smirked at his daughter's pissed off facial expression and he said before turning around to leave her, "No need to shout at me, sweetness. You know you'll owe me for that. I can wait for tonight to come, don't worry. Hope you have a nice work day." then he closed the door behind him and Holland knew she had lost this. Her eyes swelled shut and she slid down to the cold-stoned marble floor and her hands are still gripping the rim of the sink basin up above where she sat. She sobbed a little, and questioned, "Why can't you be here instead of him?" then she recomposed and went over to the shower and put on the water and testing it for the temperature to make sure the water's as scalding hot as she wants it to be.
