He was beaten and raped on several occasions, and watched his mother die by his father's hand, and then take his life soon after. But, after all his trials and tribulations, he managed to come out alright. Ryland's very serious when you first meet him, but he loosens up a bit once he gets comfortable. He tries to be nice, but he's also blunt. Don't cross him, because he can become violent. The frustrations of being a police officer may spill over every once in a while, and he does have a slight problem with controlling his anger.
FRIENDS;; Ryland has a lot of these. However, only a few of them are close. With his good looks, and due to the fact that he's a cop (everyone wants to befriend the cops). He's usually nice to whoever he meets unless you catch him on a bad day.
ENEMIES;; Unless you have blatant disrespect for the law, or if you bash cops, or if you're just a complete idiot in Ryland's eyes, you probably won't be an enemy. After what he went through when he was a kid, he'll like anyone that doesn't remind him of his family.
LOVERS;; Ryland is a very patient, and tender lover. He doesn't pressure a girl into something she doesn't want to do, and he's not going to do something until he's ready. He treats women with respect, unlike a lot of boys these days. He wants a woman who he can be himself around, joke around with, and tell anything to. He wants to marry his best friend.

But, with the help of her father, her boyfriend Marks, and her friends, she's quickly being pulled out of it. Briony's nice to people she meets, but she is quick to judge.
FRIENDS;; Briony has never had many friends. She's only had her close circle of a few friends, and that's it. She had plenty of acquaintances; people who she says hello to in the hallways, but that's pretty much it.
ENEMIES;; Unfortunately, there are more people who don't like Briony. Because she's so quite, a lot of people think she's stuck up. She was made fun of a lot in middle school and through high school, so she does have trust issues. Also, she's dating Marks Pfiefer, a guy who every girl has their eye on, even a few boys.

After that, he fell into a depression, but after finding the Lord, and with the help of his best friend, Dean, he's coming out of it. He's kind to everyone he meets, but if he finds out about you doing something that he thinks is wrong, he'll probably drop you, unless you're something really special to him. His sister, Spencer, is a good example. He believes that everyone deserves a second chance, but that you have to take the initiative to do it.
FRIENDS;; Jeremy is a all-around good guy. He really cares about what people are going through, and he's always there if someone needs to talk to him. He gives good advice, and he's trustworthy.
ENEMIES;; Jeremy could have quite a few of these too. Because he's religious, a lot of people could hold that against him. Also, he does often judge people, especially if it's their fault that they're in the situation.
LOVERS;; This poor lad has never had a real, and happy relationship. He's had hook ups, flings, and girlfriends that lasted a week. But he's never had someone who he can call his. He's sexually frustrated, and just wants someone he can hold, and cherish forever.

LOVERS;; Penelope has been crushing on her best friend, Connor, of 13 years since she met him. But, that doesn't mean that someone else can fly in and sweep her off her feet. But, he'll have to be a very special kind of guy to do that. She's head over heels for Connor.

The boys in Ronan were never interested in her because of how different she looks. She knows she's too young to settle down now, but she would love to have someone to hold and cuddle with on the beach.

Well, since these two hit it off pretty well in the icc, I could see Bridget being the less serious side of Ryland. While he's all serious and stuff in his cop ways, Bridget is over in the corner still surprised he was shot with a tazor before. She's a big child, so I feel like he can start to balance her out a little more. |

warning, i am terrible at these things. sidda is a stubborn rather out spoken type, and she is also a frequent partier and a little bit of a drug user. i'm not sure how they would meet, but once they did i think they would have a friend/enemies relationship. on some levels they would connect, but they would also get clash because they both have some issues with anger. Posey is a sweetheart, she tries to help whoever she meets. if she met ryland she would be attracted to him, looks wise he is her type, but would try to befriend him. be a good influence and help him work through some of his issues.[/justify][/size][/font]

Like we had the pair of them on the other site, she'll be a friend to him. She thinks he's hot. She can't deny that in the least. She's likely had a crush on him in the past and she's trying to move past that methinks. Anyhow. She's there for him if he needs someone to unload on as well. :D
TRACE && RYLAND
A MAN LOOKING TO BE FRIENDS WITH RYLAND!? WUT IS THIS!? No seriously. Trace is a firefighter. He understands frustration like most people don't. He had it rough socially growing up because the rest of the world looked down on him because he grew up dirt poor, but he wound up pushing past all of that and made something of himself. I think he'd probably be a good friend for Ryland and would help to ground him when he needed it.
XAVIER && RYLAND
I'm actually amused by thoughts of this. Because their personalities are pretty similar, save for the fact that they're pretty well on opposite sides of the law. It'd be interesting if the pair of them wound up meeting and had no idea what it was that one another wound up doing. A sort of screwy friendship kind of evolves from it... And then maybe Xavier finds out what Ryland does for a living and starts avoiding him like the damned plague. I dunno. Something to think about, but they have been through a lot of crap. Xavier was taken as a POW and tortured relentlessly for over five months.
LILY && RYLAND
She just wants to cuddle him. I don't even... She's like... the sweetest girl you'll ever meet and she just wants to fix everything and brighten up everyone's day up. She's a doll. Really. She'd be there for Ryland no matter what if he needed anything.

They both work at the hospital. He's an ER doctor, so chances are, she's probably worked with him and/or has seen him kicking around the hospital somewhere. I don't even know. Ethan just needs plotting at this point. HE'S LONERLY PEOPLE!

He probably tried to hit on her at some point. And if he found out she was an army brat, he'd probably be like, 'Yeah? I was in the Army.... 75th Ranger's Regiment... And then I was Delta.' and flex his muscles and junk. Well... okay, he's smoother than the muscle flex thing but, yeah. XD He'd probably connect with her on a strange sort of level for the fact that she was an army brat. I dunno.
