"i think it becomes and issue when you forget you have a roommate," he began, a grin setting on his pink lips. "for a minute there i thought you were some robber or something. i was about to get my bat." of course, anyone who knew nathan knew that he was a complete softy, and even if he was given the tools to hurt someone, he wouldn't. even if it was someone stealing his stuff. for boo with aiden.. this is 859 words long and sorry for the wait! [/style][style=width=400px; background-color: #534C54; padding: 10px; font-family: wire one; color: white; font-size: 30px; text-align: right; width: 400px; line-height: 110%; letter-spacing: 2px;]I'll be holding all the tickets [atrb=border,0,true][atrb=cellSpacing,0,true][atrb=style, width: 400px; background-color:#234880; padding:0px;] When Aiden snuck out mid-morning, she was dressed in her work out attire, which was loose fitting pants and a tank top. She headed down to the gym to join in the Zumba classes. There was a reason she never missed Zumba and it certainly wasn’t because she actually liked dancing, though to be fair, as far as exercising went, Zumba had to be one of the best ways to do it. Aiden loved to do all the ballroom dance steps with modern day twists but that wasn’t the only reason she went. There wasn’t a boy either. Aiden wasn’t really into people. She was still in love with her ex, Jordan Alexander. No, that wasn’t why she Zumba’d. The reason Aiden Zumba’d passed the gym at about two fifteen and when it passed, the most beautiful sound played.
That’s right. Aiden Zumba’d so that she could hit up the ice cream truck afterwards. Not that Aiden really had to worry about putting on weight. She could eat her weight in Nachos night after night and not gain a pound but it was good practice for when her metabolism slowed down, if that ever happened.
Today, the truck had been early though. Aiden was midway through the routine when that sound rang in her ears. At that point she had two options. Stay and go to the dairy on her way home or book it and try and catch the ice cream truck before it drove off. Really that wasn’t even a decision. Aiden hit the door of the gym at full speed and managed to flag down the slow moving truck. The attendant inside laughed at her, making a comment about thinking she’d taken a day off. Aiden laughed. ”No, you’re just early.” She scolded playfully, exchanging her exact change for the biggest push pop she’d ever laid eyes on. That was why going to the dairy was out of the question. From the truck, she got one large push pop to nom on like a happy little bird where she’d have to buy a whole box to get the same amount of ice cream. Being green, Aiden couldn’t condone all that packaging.
And that’s how she justified it.
With ice cream in hand, she licked away at it happily, turning to go back into the gym and collect the things she’d left in her mad dash to stop the truck. Aiden was oblivious to the jealous and judgmental stares but it seemed she got everyone attention. She was just far too involved in her treat to be bothered with anyone else. Getting her items, she made her way back to the apartment, letting herself in as her roommate wandered in fresh out of the shower. Aiden eyed him freely as he crossed the room to the fridge while continuing to lick at her ice cream eyeing him like a little girl who had a sweet tooth and had never seen a man so naked before.
Instinctively, Aiden’s eyes wandered to the clock as he’d greeted her, just to check the time of day. She’d be scolded if she had consumed this ice cream before noon. As it was, Aiden still greeted everyone with good morning rather than any other greeting simply because it sounded better in her opinion. ”Morning.” She said, hardly pausing from her treat to return the sentiment. Her eyes wandered over his physique shamelessly. He was just a baby but damn did he have a body. ”How did you get abs like that?” She asked, moving over to poke him in the stomach lightly, testing the hardness of them. ”Bloody hell kid.” She said, her English-Irish accent prominent at this moment.
Her eyes fell to the carton of orange juice on the counter and she purse her lips some. ”That’s going to go bad if you leave it out ya know.” She said, before turning on him, ”And don’t be bringing girls home with ya and going down on them then drinking from the carton without disinfecting your mouth first kid.” She poked him in the stomach again, a little more roughly this time. ”I do not want your late night snack with my breakfast in the morning, kapeesh?” That was the first time Aiden pulled her tongue out of reach of her large, frozen treat.
Using her open palm, she pressed the stick of the treat into the palm of her hand, exposing more ice cream for her to lick. She laughed a bit as he mentioned getting the bat. ”You need to take some vitamin b12 if you can’t remember you’re living with me.” She informed him, unable to keep from giggling at the idea of him with a bat. Vaguely she wondered if he even knew how to use one but didn’t want to question him. ”Go get your bat. I just got back from the gym. You’d break your wood on these buns of steel.” She laughed, tapping her bum with her hand hard enough to make a sound and she winked at him, still giggling.
Oh Aiden, you are something else.

[style=width: 400px; height: 150px; overflow: auto; text-align: justify; text-transform: lowercase; font-family: helvetica; font-size: 10px; border-left: 3px solid #30101B;]nathan watched her closely, his lips turned into the upward motion of a grin as she made a comment on his abs. he shrugged his shoulders briefly and hummed while looking aiden up and down briefly, merely curious as to why she was dressed the way she was. then again, it was pretty obvious with her attire - a pair of loose fitting pants and a top. it was pretty obvious that she had just gotten home from the gym, a place that might as well have been marked as foreign territory to nate. when she began approaching him and lightly poked his stomach, he arched a brow and swallowed harshly, suddenly self conscious of the thick towel wrapped around his waist. then again, nate had no idea how his mind even wandered to being naked in the first place, anyways. that was just the way his mind worked sometimes, supposedly. "i think i get them from eating. maybe. something like that," he answered slowly, the very mention of food making his stomach grumble. he hadn't even realized how long it had been since his last meal, which was a rare occasion for him since he was pretty much always eating. "wait.. i thought only milk went bad if you left it out?" he questioned, looking down at the carton, then over to the fridge, and then back to his roomie. the next statement she made, however, made nate quickly avert his eyes to something else - anything, for that matter. he bit the inside of his cheek as he leaned himself against the edge of the kitchen counter. "hmm," he grunted softly, his hazel eyes flickering over aiden's face. "aye aye captain." he said before quickly recoiling back when she poked him, this time a little rougher than she had last time. "ow!" he exclaimed, his voice breaking ever so slightly. sometimes, puberty just never fully set with nathan, and that much was obvious whenever he spoke and his voice cracked. he'd always try to quickly recover himself, but it never quite worked out in his advantage. or it did, but it was too late, anyways, because people already noticed. either way, it happened. a lot. especially considering he liked to think of himself as an adult now that he was nineteen and everything. some people begged to differ, however; he wasn't "technically an adult" until he had reached the drinking age in the united states. but if you really wanted to get technical, he was already able to drink back in his hometown, so he supposed he was only really a man where he was from according to some people. nathan scrunched up his face and shook his head slowly, his body shuddering slightly, if even noticeably at all. "just.. no, mate. the way you described that really isn't okay. never performing oral sex on a girl ever again." he paused and rubbed the bridge of his nose before continuing, his voice all too amused sounding for whatever kind of serious facade he was putting up, "you just stuck the mental image of some old fat guy eating a bunch of leftover meatloaf at two o'clock in the morning in his mother's basement." he hesitated again, lips twitching downward into a slight frown, although it was quickly replaced by another cheeky grin. "good to know that's what you think of me," he teased playfully before turning around and putting the carton of orange juice back to the bottom shelf on the refrigerator. "b12?" he questioned cautiously as he closed the fridge door, turning slightly to look back at her. "well, aren't you just fancy knowing all your vitamins and stuff. i think." he ran a hand through his damp, dark curls. when she began giggling at the mention of him with a bat, he scowled down at her and sniffled. "i can be tough and intimidating if i really wanted to be," he retorted, leaning his shoulder into the fridge while he crossed his arms over his chest. he licked his lower lip and simply rolled his eyes when aiden said that he would break his bat on her alleged "buns of steel". "remind me to go out and get me a steel bat, then." he ran his fingers through his hands again, almost doing it out of habit, since there really was no hair in his face to begin with, or at least for now, in this moment. "so dancing around to weird music really counts as exercise?" he questioned, arching a brow. "and doesn't eating ice cream cancel out the zumba, or...?"for boo with aiden.. this is 776 words long and crappy post/long wait = sorry </3.[/size] [/div][/center]

[/style][style=width=400px; background-color: #534C54; padding: 10px; font-family: wire one; color: white; font-size: 30px; text-align: right; width: 400px; line-height: 110%; letter-spacing: 2px;]I'll be holding all the tickets [atrb=border,0,true][atrb=cellSpacing,0,true][atrb=style, width: 400px; background-color:#234880; padding:0px;] Aiden looked up away from his abs and to his face, pursing her lips a little. ”I wish I could get abs like that from eating.” She sighed a bit, sliding her hand under her own shirt to feel her stomach. She could eat her weight in nachos and not gain a pound but to get her abs and the rest of her body into a decent shape, Aiden had to work at them. A few sit-ups here, a couple of push-ups and squats there; nothing strenuous. Truth was, Aiden didn’t really want abs quite like Nathan’s. Abs that defined would not be attractive on a lady. Period. Maybe some people found it attractive but Aiden felt a woman was supposed to be soft. As such, her muscles shouldn’t have been as defined as a man’s. In reality, Aiden was pleased with the gentle curve of her stomach. She didn’t have a gut and she wasn’t stick thin but she was pleased with her physical appearance for the most part.
Oh. Her young roommate was adorable. Aiden laughed softly and shook her head. She couldn’t help but muse her fingers through his soft curls playfully, wrinkling her nose. The gleam in her eye was a dead giveaway that she found him adorable, like a puppy. ”Come here darling.” She said, pulling the handle to the fridge door and resting her arm across his back gently, showing him the contents of the box. ”Everything in here, is here for a reason.” She informed him, reaching for a bottle and turning it around. She pointed at large bold letters that said ‘REFRIDGERATE AFTER OPENING’ and looked up to him. ”See? It even warns you on the label that you need to put this in the refrigerator or it will go bad.” She said, nodding a bit, replacing the bottle and grabbing the ranch dressing and pointing to the same label, glancing up at him. ”But don’t ever let me catch you putting apples in the fridge.” She warned, closing the refrigerator and looking at him pointedly. ”Putting apples in the refrigerator is inhuman and I will hunt you down and do unmentionable things to you.” She threatened playfully.
When Nathan described a man eating leftover meatloaf, Aiden’s brow furrowed and she couldn’t help but tilt her head, giving him a confused look. Her head shook some and it was obvious she was confused. ”What?” She asked. ”How do you get a man eating his mother’s meatloaf out of drinking from the carton after going down on a lass?” She asked, her confusion breaking away to laughter as she shook her head again. Really, sometimes Nathan was just too much. Once again, she ruffled his hair. Even now, it hadn’t registered that Nathan was naked beneath his towel. Hell, how long had they been living together? Obviously not long enough since he was forgetting that she did in fact live there with him. Still, she really hadn’t acknowledged that he was a man with needs and that she was a woman with the capabilities of fulfilling such needs. In her eyes, he might as well have been a cute little puppy because all she wanted to do was wrap him up in her arms and snuggle with him.
”I’m very fancy.” She assured him with a grin. Truth was, she had a soft spot for psychology and had taken Psychology 101 at some point. Things that effected memory had stuck with her and her teacher had advised that anyone who was going to drink should at least take a B12 supplement to help their hippocampus. In addition to, Aiden liked the idea of alchemy, or rather the idea that certain herbs and what not could have a certain effect on you. She always had liked it. It was intriguing. Just like Zodiac. Aiden didn’t really believe in Zodiac but it was interesting none the less. His quip about a steel bat made her laugh and she looked at him ”You wouldn’t want to dent my buns of steel would you?” She pouted playfully at him.
Aiden’s attention was drawn back to her lovely push pop and she was instantly filled with joy again and went back to licking it happily. ”Exactly, that’s the point!” She said with a giggle, grinning. ”Want some? I want to see if your abs get anymore defined.” She said with a laugh. Now imagine how awkward the situation would turn if that towel fell and didn’t cover your family jewels huh Nathan?
