[style=font-family: helvetica; font-size: 13px; letter-spacing: 6px; text-transform: uppercase; text-align: center;]LUA FULL NAME: madelyn louise teagarden ALIAS: lou wellington (going by her mother's maiden name) DATE OF BIRTH: august 3rd 1993 AGE: nineteen OCCUPATION: waitress at tilted pot SEXUALITY: heterosexual PLAY BY: kaya scodelario LOCAL [style=background-color: #664340; border: 10px solid #664340; font-family: georgia; letter-spacing: 10px; color: #ABA291; text-align: center;]personality lou is a secetive girl. she had run away from home a few years ago and since then has yet to relinquish the fear that she will be caught in her lie. her secrecy is shrouded by charm, however, something she inerhited from her parents and her life of luxury. she had lived to entertain her guests, and she still can. but lou is a tempermental girl, quick to grow irritable and quick to snap. her spoiled lifestyle created this, although she has never seen a problem with it. she calls it assertive, if anything. she is highly intelligent, something her father never meant to give to her. she uses this intelligence as wit for her words, since she knows fully well that her petite body will get her nowhere in fights. she likes genuinity and people who are down-to-earth, as well as smart people. and she likes coffee. however, she hates people who are prying in her business (for obvious reasons) as well as people who think they have authority over her (since she is used to being the authoritative figure), and she despises pineapples. she probably couldn't tell you why if asked. but lou is quick to make friends, despite being slow to trust them. even her closest friends in myrtle beach still don't know a thing about her identity as madelyn teagarden and she hopes to keep it that way. [/style]lou never meant to stay away from home. she didn't know what she meant to do, if she was honest with herself. her confusion lies in the middle of a snowball that took place when she moved to myrtle beach. when money got low and she wasn't ready to leave, she got a job. the job held her down, kept her there. she had no idea as to what she was doing until it was too late and lou was living a false life in the tourist city. her own little neverland. to this day, she does not know what she wants. [style=background-color: #664340; border: 10px solid #664340; font-family: georgia; letter-spacing: 10px; color: #ABA291; text-align: center;]physical description lou was raised with a proper diet. she lived off of nuts and berries and fruit. she ate the best and freshest of meals. and she exercised. her mother refused to raise a chubby child, and therefore molded lou like putty in her hands. to this day lou has an odd diet for a teenager, staying away from any and all fast food resturaunts and fryers. she likes to go on runs in the morning (if she succeeds in getting herself up). because of this, she is somewhat lean, and very petite. born from two rather small parents, the gene pool had little wriggle room when it came to height. lou stands at five feet on the tick, and weights under one hundred pounds. because of her diet, she is skinny and almost bony. also because of this, she lacks curves. sometimes she buys extra padded bras in hopes of fooling others into thinking she has more than she truly does. flat chested and flat rumped, she is a stick of a girl. her skin is fair, unlike most of the locals in myrtle beach. because of this, she has freckles littering her face and shoulders from the days she does happen to venture into the sun. [/style]she used to have shoulder length hair, trimmed to a 't' with clips always holding unruly dark brown locks out of her face. after leaving home, lou got herself a set of bangs, slightly crooked on her face. she uses these to help hide her identity as well as to hide her forehead, which she is convinced is too big for good looks. her hair, however, now tumbles past her shoulders in length. as far as clothes, she wears a lot of pac sun and tilly's beachwear. she likes the square-cut shirts because they hide her lack of curves. and she always wears her clothes one size too big. she likes the extra fabric, taking comfort in being able to shrink into it. her friends tease her (in good spirits) because the clothes she buys hang off of her bony shoulders. but she doesn't mind. and lou always, always wears flared jeans. she has this thought in her head that her feet are too big for her size and refuses to wear skinny jeans, or flip flops for that matter. [style=background-color: #664340; border: 10px solid #664340; font-family: georgia; letter-spacing: 10px; color: #ABA291; text-align: center;]history madelyn louise teagarden was born into a family as pretentious as her name. her mother and father, emilia and thomas, were a doubly wealthy couple. emilia was old money, and inherited at least a million when her parents passed away. thomas was a big shot on the stock market, and had tasted the good life. when the pair of them met at a company dinner, emilia's family having owned it and thomas having invested in it, there was an instant attraction between them. the attraction itself was hardly romantic as much as greed. they both had money and wanted more. their union came a few years later, but emilia and thomas did not love each other. even still, they had their own personal needs and a few years later they ended up with madelyn louise. [/style]madelyn was cared for by numerous nannies that passed the test, and later failed after minor mistakes that emilia was not going to put up with. between both parents, emilia was the one who cared about her little madelyn more. she knew things like her daughter's birthday, and her favorite color and fruit. she often bought pears for madelyn, glad that her daughter took a liking to something that fit the dietary requirements. thomas was always working, rarely spending time with either of his girls. their life was picture perfect from the outside, although the inside was too sterile for any love to be expressed within the walls of the mansion. madelyn craved this sort of relationship she saw on television when she was permitted to watch it. she wished she had it. sometimes she tried to get her mother to go out with her, although it always ended with the same old story. when madelyn was fifteen years old, she had grown to hate the life she was given. her temper flared on her nannies and she felt bad afterward, always trying to apologize. the straw that kicked her from the nest was when her mother caught her father having an affair. emilia stormed out of the house with her favorite things packed. madelyn had hoped that her mother could come back. she did, but she was riding in a mover's truck and she was only in the house long enough to pack her belongings into boxes. she left and was never seen again (not by madelyn anyway). thomas never loved her. in fact, madelyn was old enough to catch on to the fact that her father probably never even wanted her. she had packed a solitary duffle bag that day, and left. sometimes she wonders if her father even bothered looking. maybe he thought emilia took her when she left. emilia would think that her daughter was still at home with thomas. neither would talk to each other. and that was why madelyn made it all the way to myrtle beach without getting caught. that was why she celebrated her nineteenth birthday without being found out. when she arrived in the tourist city, she had gone because she wanted a vacation. she wanted to get away from everything that turned her knuckles white. except she liked myrtle beach. really, really liked it. she stayed about a week before the money she had taken from the safe in her father's room was running low. she was not ready to leave at that point in time, and decided she would get a job to keep the loft she had rented. before searching, however, lou wanted a cup of coffee. she was sleepy from getting up early for the hunt, and needed the caffiene. she passed a lot of chain stores and stuck her nose up in a grimace. she never ate at fast food places. she would not start then. her walk led her down a small back road that placed the tilted pot right in her path. it was local and family owned, and seemed like the best place to stop. she ordered a cup of organic coffee and charmed the owners with a bright smile and a wit that she had mustered up beforehand. she was hired by the end of that day and was to start the next. four years later, lou is a nineteen year old employee at the cafe. she has yet to go home, or even think about whether or not she wants to. |
