people throw rocks at things that shine don't you worry your pretty little mind he was highly confused as he laid in the random barn that they had stumbled across, lounging in the hay loft and staring at the wooden ceiling. she had been so delicate, so soft and sweet but he knew when she had let the fire out that there was another side of her but even rhett could not have predicted that much of a different side. she had been shaking her backside, her hips had been swaying, her hair was down and though she was covered in sweat at the time, she had never looked more beautiful. this other side intrigued him even more, and he was confused as to why she would hide that part of her life but then the memory of meeting her stone cold father reappeared into his mind and he was beginning to understand, and he enjoyed the idea of her other half so much more. smirking, he swung his legs over the side of the loft, listening to the howling wind and looking down at her form, trapped in the wooden structure with him. he had gone to explore but got rather comfortable being that far away from the two faced girl. he had enjoyed the silence for the time being but now, he should probably be a gentleman and assure her that everything seemed structurally sound. the wind was whipping outside and the drops of rain were falling faster and heavier and yet, they remained rather warm and dry. dropping back onto the floor, opting to actually jump down instead of using the ladder, he landed by her, slowly rising to his feet, ”seems alright.” he said with a shrug, his eyes wondering up and down her for a moment before turning his head and chuckling. ”sorry it’s not mansion or nothin’”, his midwest accent rather prominent as he wondered over to a supporting beam and gave it a small kick, watching for any sign of destruction to follow but when none came, he leaned his body against the wooden beam, ”so church girl has a naughty side..who knew?”, he grinned, his eyes trailing the floor and looking to her, grinning.[/div]

She wished the winds could blow away any memory Rhett had of her dancing and cutting loose at the club because no one who had contact with her father could know about that. While she was pretty sure he didn’t want the contact with her dad she was also pretty sure that he didn’t really have a choice. Glancing around the building she sighed to herself and pushed a few fly-away hairs from her face as she listened to the storm and tried to think of a safe way to get the heck out of there and into an actual house or something.
The male had taken off to go check that their safe spot in the storm was actually safe and she figured that was a good idea and gave her time to sort out her thoughts before he appeared again. She needed to calm down a bit and pulling out her phone she texted her mom that she was alright and safe somewhere she could wait out the storm so that her parents wouldn’t worry. She had to move around a little to find signal so it would sent but once it had she tucked the phone back into her pocket and looked at Rhett who had re-appeared now rolling her eyes at his jumping down from the loft. ”Doesn’t have to me a mansion just has to stay standing till this storm passes.” she grumbled not amused by his assumption about her needing some sort of mansion or whatever. Looking away from him she shook her head at him, ”No one knew. That was the whole point. Actually let’s pretend you don’t know alright?” she suggested not actually thinking it would work but willing to try.

people throw rocks at things that shine don't you worry your pretty little mind the two of them were not going to get along and if the storm did not blow the place down, their loud voices probably would at this point. he had jumped down after having inspected the place to make sure that it was structurally sound, and all rhett could think about was his car that was currently sitting in the middle of a road with rising flood waters. the image was haunting to him as his host had given him the car to fix up and then drive when he needed it and rhett really did need it. there were days that he would drive to the city limits, hellbent on getting home just to stop at the sign and stare at it for about twenty minutes. it was a reassurance that he did not have to stay in this town but now, he had something with some entertainment when it came to the people of the town. he had uncovered a dirty little secret about the girl that was near him and it tickled him in all the right places with that kind of power. he was not going to be a complete asinine about it and make her feel low but he did have to flaunt the knowledge a little, just to keep face of being a rebel. ”hm, I guess we will see about that one when the storm passes in about..” , glancing to his invisible watch, teetering his head back and forth in thought, ”I’d say 6 hours, give or take..” because that was the length of the storm warning the last time that he checked. now the male was stuck in the barn with her, his body now leaning against a wooden beam which he lightly tapped to make sure that the structure was not going to crumble against the force of his little weight. ”hmm..well this interesting.” he spoke with a chuckle, moving closer and putting his hands on her hips, not making a move to move them anywhere else, ”so dance lessons or just naturally able to shake your hips like that?”, his hands forcibly making her hips move one way and then the other and then he dropped them, moving to sit down by the beam. his eyes darted to the floor, picking up a stick that was beside him and lightly drawing in the terrain, random shapes that held no meaning while the wind let out a large howl and droplets of rain slipped through the cracks, ”just great.” he muttered as a raindrop hit him on top of the head and caused his smirk to fall into a scowl.[/div]

To her that just seemed like the wrong kind of situation to be in when she was worrying about her family and worried about making it through the storm herself since while it seemed to be standing strong for now there was no way to know if the barn would stay that way the whole time. She had a feeling that the male she was stuck with would enjoy pushing her buttons just for his own amusement while they were stuck here and that irritated her more than she could explain because he actually had information he’d succeed at his task with like what she did on nights where she wasn’t playing the good daughter role her dad thought was an always thing even if it wasn’t. She’d done good keeping her secret so far and this guy knowing? It bothered her.
Looking over at him when he spoke she gave a little disgusted sigh and shook her head, ”Really? That’s just grand thank you for proving what I already thought of you and adding to my stress level at the same time with just one sentence from you.” she said rolling her eyes a little and shifting to move farther away from him. ”Six hours? No…it can’t really last that long can it? Or like you mean six hours of just the rain part so we can try getting out of here once the wind fades?” she said hoping that she wouldn’t be stuck there for that long with him since it wouldn’t end well for either of them. When his hands settled on her hips she threw a glare at him and the way he made her move after speaking before stepping away from him moving a farther distance than before. ”Bit of both, no formal lessons just a friend sneaking me into her class or teaching me what she learned. Mostly natural.” she answered shaking her head at herself for even answering that question. ”No more questions okay? You’ve already got all you need to screw everything up for me so that’s all you get.” she said reaching up to rub a hand over her forehead with a sigh. ”Should try to get out of here before the wind gets any worse…get to a house or something instead.” she said moving toward the doors to try pushing one open.

people throw rocks at things that shine don't you worry your pretty little mind his eyes continued to flit around the barn, looking for any weak spots from the minimum construction and carpentry knowledge that he had but found none at the moment. he was concerned about one beam but it seemed to be lasting during this stage of the hurricane and the eye of the storm would be the best time to retreat back to the car and try and make it back to either house where they could easily separate but for now, the two were locked in a barn together and rhett found the moment far to pleasurable, maybe more than he should have. he could already tell that she was uneasy about the two things that he could identify at this moment, one would be that he knew far too much for her own comfort as his own sober eyes had witnessed her grinding against another guy with revealing clothing and looking rather risqué as opposed to her usual sunday girl act that she pulled around her parents. the other thing would be that they were stuck in a rather unstable barn with mother nature’s fury pounding against it, ”won’t fall.” he said, trying to be reassuring but his accent made everything have a sarcastic flavor sometimes and this seemed to be one of those times. ”better than 16 ‘ours.” he said with an honest shrug, chuckling as she tried to talk the idea of six hours out of her mind but rhett was rather positive that the storm was going to be awhile, ”less you wanna risk the eye of the storm, probably fifteen minutes or so until the second wall would hit ya.”, and he was referring to her braving that small portion of time because rhett was certain that he was going to stick out the duration of the storm in the barn, where he had a higher chance of living. chuckling as she moved away, he lifted his hands off her hips in a mock surrender, taking a step back, ”woah filly, wasn’t going to do anything. not that perverted..”, giving her a wink before nodding to her surprising answer to his question, ”okay.” was really his only thing to say as he sat back down, putting some distance between them. ”woah woah sweetheart, ya think I’m going to use this against ya? I’m basking in the idea of being apart of this naughty side of you..”, chuckling as his arms went over his bent legs and he ducked his head into his chest, letting out a small chuckle to the mere thought, ”so is boyfriend #1 part of the act or well aware of this bad girl side to you?” he asked, eyebrow raised with curiosty. he was not certain if she was aware that he held that kind of knowledge but giving a shrug to her, ”woman sure love to gossip. so trevor is his name? or Nicholas…shoot, now I can’t remember.”, he said, picking his head up and looking over to where she had once stood. his eyebrow arched, whipping his head around and eyes widening as he rushed to smash his body against the door, ”you some kind of nut job? you could blow the door right off the hinges.”, leaning against the door and shaking his head, a fake disappointing scowl on his face which was quickly replaced with a smirk.[/div]

The barn was built solid to hold up but they hadn’t been planning on a hurricane when building it so maybe it wouldn’t hold up that well? They weren’t like homes where there was layers of support and extra safety build in to the houses foundation before more was added while it was finished, barns were built solid yes but that that solid. Looking back at him when he said “won’t fall” she lifted an eyebrow at him a moment, ”Expert in barns or construction?” she asked and then sighed reaching a hand up to rub her forehead realizing that while she might not always be daddy’s princess she wasn’t a total bitch though she was acting like it right now. ”Sorry…and yeah that’s true definitely better than sixteen.” she said with a sigh and shook her head at the whole situation not able to believe they were stuck in there like this. She reached up to push some fly-away hairs out of her eyes considering just letting her hair down instead but left it was it was for now looking over as he spoke about the eye of the storm. ”Fifteen is enough to get back to the car and if we drive a little fast we could get somewhere other than this barn.” she said thoughtfully knowing she might be wrong about that but also on one level willing to try anyway.
Giving him an unamused look at being called “filly” she shook her head at him, ”Touching uninvited is bad enough. Don’t do it. And don’t call me filly I have a name.” she said ignoring his wink. She wasn’t sure why she’d answered his question, temporary insanity or something was probably as good a thing to claim as any. Looking at him surprised as he talked about using it against her though claiming the opposite she lifted a eyebrow at him, ”Being a part of my naughty side? Yeah right…how do you think that’s going to work?” she asked not planning to let this guy stick around when she was having that kind of fun since she didn’t trust him to keep it to himself no matter what he said right now. She didn’t know him well enough to trust him and that was the simple fact of the situation. When he talked about her boyfriend though she rolled her eyes at the question, ”My dad approves of him…what do you think?” she asked with a sigh. ”Joshua, my boyfriends name is Joshua.” she said figuring that’s who he was talking about. When he got into her path as she was headed for the door though she narrowed her eyes at him, ”Yes. I’m a nut-job. You should be running the other direction from crazy Abigail Baker.” she said rolling her eyes. ”I was just thinking of getting somewhere safer than this barn.”
