darling, they all look like me well you've got your demons . the wind had picked up faster than jace had expected while he was walking home from just a meeting with the general contractors about one of the houses that he was repairing. jace was more of the silent listener, rolling his eyes and answering when he was addressed but not much else besides that as he just wanted to be home once more. home was a sanctuary for him but it appeared that with the wind whipping at his face and making walking rather difficult, the male was forced into another building at a random choosing where he opened and then slammed the door shut before too much water made it’s way in. turning around, he was met with the machines that he used to withdraw the little money that he had and gave a shrug as he did not even notice a blonde there while moving over to the machine. the second that his card was inserted, an alarm sound went off which caused his head to turn in a few different directions before the flicking of the lights began and then shut off all together, followed by the alarm. ”what the fuck?” [/b] he yelled at, his voice echoing but another sound caught his attention and he whipped his head around to face the figure that also appeared to have chosen this spot as a safe ground from the weather, ”who the fuck are you?”[/b] he hissed out, never having been good with social interactions. giving a careless shrug, the male moved to the door as the idea of being alone was more satisfying than the being trapped in a vestibule with a random person. he tugged on the door but it wouldn’t budge, thinking that he may have the wrong direction, he gave it a push but even with all the force that he could muster, the door did not move. giving it a look over with the light from his phone screen, he noticed the security box which was no longer blinking and indicated that the door was shut until the power was restored, ”great, lost my card, can’t get out…how could this get any fucking worse?”[/b], moving to a spot on the floor and seating himself down, back turned to the stranger.[/div][/center]

Well this had been beyond expected. Amelie had certainly never experienced anything like this in her life. She was from France. They didn`t have insane weather like this and the blonde woman had no idea what the hell to do or where the hell she was going. She didn`t know the first thing about surviving through something like this. She`d been at the theater when the storm had hit. Her stage manager had been unsure as to whether or not to let them all head to the convention center or keep them holed up there, but the moment that a sign had crashed through one of the theater windows and blown it open and the wind had started whipping through there, they decided it was a safer bet to get them all to the convention center.
Only problem was, as her luck would have it, they`d all left as she had been in the change room gathering her things. So she`d taken to the streets, not knowing what the hell else to do. And had ducked into the bank. The moment he realized who had followed her in, she froze. Was that sincerely....? Her luck honestly couldn't get any better, she thought miserably as she headed for the door just as the power went out. She gave a little squeak, not sure what the hell to do, but it was made clear that they were trapped in there a moment later by Jace.
And he was miserable as always. "I can think of how it could get worse..." She muttered, her french accent slipping through as she curled herself up into a tight ball on the floor. Jace would likely never have the chance to see her with her confidence shaken quite like this again. She was terrified in the moment and rightfully so. She was soaked through to the bone, her blonde hair had once been pinned atop her head and was now hanging down around her shoulders in wet streaks. She pulled her knees to her chest and wrapped her arms around them, trying to make herself as small as possible and keep as far back away from the window as she could.
Suddenly, she wished she'd never left France.

darling, they all look like me well you've got your demons . locked in a vestibule was annoying to jace but it was something that he could deal with, if he was on his own. alas, fate was cruel to him to lock him into a bank with no food, water or basic necessities but it was worse that he was not alone but jace would make the most of the silence that was surrounding him and bask in it for a split second. however, the moment lasted long enough for jace to start to gather his thoughts up before a voice cut through the silence and had his head slowly turning to face it. the accent was all undeniably attractive but it had a familiar twinge to it as well that he could not help but look at the owner of the voice and his mouth actually opened in pure shock to the petite dancer with a feisty personality and a big mouth. ”it just did.” [/b] he muttered to her, shaking his head and turning back around to face the open window that surrounded the vestibule, watching the garbage on the street fly by and half desiring something to fly through the window to just knock him out until the storm was over, it was better than sitting in the now silence. he wanted to hear more of her accent, question it and all about her but as he glanced of his shoulder, he noticed that the confident young woman that had bugged him until the end of his thread was not in this space and instead, he was stuck with a quivering blonde who appeared to be rather vulnerable. he could play this in two different ways and both of which would be rather cruel and so, his eyes wondered her form for a moment before turning around and facing the outside world once more, wishing to be on the other side of the glass as anything was better. it took almost a full thirty minutes for a noise to be uttered as his throat cleared and he grumbled to himself, glancing over his shoulder, ”you cold or something? your teeth are driving me crazy..”[/b] which was a complete lie as he knew that she was cold but the sound of her teeth chattering was no concern to him but at the same time, he had an inkling of a warm feeling deep in his chest that he was thinking could be mistaken for something as absurd as caring for another.
