What You Need To Know:
Okay for starters there are a few key facts you need to understand about him and this plot...Their Past:
• He's supposedly dead, killed in action somewhere in December of 2009.
• His face is Jay Ryan ... cause ... I mean look at that man. Seriously. You can use him with the face scar from batb or not idc which way but yeah.
• He needs a new alias since he's not supposed to be alive so he wouldn't just be wandering around throwing the name he was known by around. I don't have a name in mind but I can help you think one up if you take him and want me to?
• He will be her final.
The Truth:
Jo and Jack have known each other since they were kids, that whole "in kindergarten he lent me his orange crayon and we've been best friends ever since" kind of relationship. They were just friends to start off with and in high school were dating other people and "just friends" until their senior year. Of course that didn't stop any of their friends from easing them endlessly about being "just like" a married couple and such which is part of what opened their eyes. They got together the summer before their senior year in one of those "so you're my best friend and the only one who's never broken my heart...why haven't we tried dating?" kind of ways that went perfectly for them rather than being weird when the relationship changed tracks. They were happy and in love because they'd spend their whole lives falling in love with each other. Then he joined up with the Navy and things got a bit tricky with her plans to become a police officer.
They were apart for a little while because of their training but they stayed in touch and kept the relationship going even though it was long-distance. July 7th 2004 they got married and they moved to Goose Creek, South Carolina in 2005. He never told her about being approached to become part of a more secretive team because he couldn't so she never knew about that and when he got shipped out she just thought it was a Navy thing. They moved to Myrtle Beach in April of 2009 ready to settle down and start their family but he got shipped out again. She got the news of his death on December 2nd 2009. The news absolutely crushed her because she lost the man she loved and her best friend all in one day.
Their Future:
While the report is that he's dead, and to the world he is, what really happened wasn't him being killed in action. The group he'd joined was not technically part of the government since it had never been approved through proper channels and was not recognized as existing. When they were found out and the orders came to shut it down the men in charge decided that they didn't want to risk anyone finding out the secrets that the group was keeping so they started "dealing with" the members. Taking them out instead of just re-assigning them so that their secrets would go to the grave with the soldiers. He was one of the ones they aimed to take out and how they did that is up to you.
What happened though was wherever they'd sent him he didn't actually die and they never recovered his body. He was taken in and helped by locals who got him back to being healthy and made some less-than-good connections that helped him get ID and things once he felt he was able to go back to the states. He had been planning to return since realizing that they marked him as dead because he wants to get back to Jo and whether or not he wants to blow the whistle on the organization that tried to kill him is up to you. He can either want a normal life or some revenge.
He is back in the states now, and he'd been using his less-than-good contacts to keep tabs on her so he knew she was okay while he was away. Coming back he knows is a risk but he's willing to take it to be with her. She doesn't know he's alive though she hates that they never brought him back to her claiming his body was not recoverable at the time.
He doesn't just walk up to her on the street one day either, let's go for a bit more flair with him grabbing her and using his military training to get her somewhere alone. She was a police officer, she'd use her training against him but he's a little better trained obviously. Course once he does this his could realize it's a bad idea since he's supposed to be dead and kinda tries to find a way back out of the situation when she has a natural investigative personality and eventually would have to just face her and be like "okay don't flip it was your husband who kidnapped you and you should not shoot him because he already survived death once and isn't sure he can do it twice" or something...yeah I'm cracktastic right now without the crack while typing this so that may not be exactly how it goes but it's an idea.
Basically their reunion isn't going to be typical by any means and is going to shock the crap out of her since she thought he was dead. I'm imagining there will be "why didn't you ever contact me to tell me you weren't dead" fights at some point in there and drama...lots of drama because I am sass and drama is my middle name okay? okay.
So I've rambled a lot at you and really most of what happens once he's back in their life is stuff we can work out together but I have some ideas we can play with so please please please make him? I will love you forever.
