[/classy][/classy] | [atrb=valign,top][classy=TiffP1] Tiffany glanced around her living room with her hands on her hips as she looked for the elusive blue notebook that held the music she’d written. She’d been talking to a guy online the other night and they’d agreed to meeting up for a jam session sometime and that would be easier if she had her music. Of course she knew it all by heart but he didn’t know her music and if he wanted to see it she would like to just be like “yeah sure!” and hand it over but she’d made the mistake of cleaning up her house. Well no it wasn’t really a mistake so much as something that had needed to happen she didn’t always worry about putting away books or dvd cases she got out or tidying up stuff that got out of order sometimes. She wouldn’t call herself a slob by any means but not the words most clean-freakiest person in the world either. [/classy]Sighing she picked up her coffee cup downing the amazing liquid inside as she headed for the kitchen to rinse it out and worry about cleaning later. Stopping at the door way her eyes narrowed on the blue notebook sitting on her kitchen table with the envelopes that had her bills and things she needed to take care of before the end of next week. ”Well played Tiff…hiding it in plain sight. You’re either an evil genious or an idiot for forgetting.” she mumbled to herself before running the water through her cup to rinse it out and picking the book up heading for the living room to drop herself on the couch. She was excited for the chance to have a jam session with someone, helped that the guy who was coming over to jam with her seemed really interesting and nice too. Most people would say “don’t trust the people you meet online” but really it was a local chat for those who lived in myrtle beach and she liked to live with a bit of risk? He’d talked about having a daughter too and that was honestly a weakness of hers when it came to men though she didn’t normally list it cause it made other girls give her weird looks when they were “girl talking” or whatever. Saying “hey I find single dad’s to be really attractive because it means they stepped up to take that responsibility and generally are good guys. Of course her own dad hadn’t been the same as that when he’d become a single father after her mom took off running, he’d actually been a horrible father taking his fists to her when angry or drunk, but she didn’t let herself think of him so she could look at the world without that corrupting her vision. She liked to think she was stronger for what happened because she’d stepped up and done what needed to be done to save herself. She wasn’t weak and she didn’t need to think about her past because the future was so much more interesting. She’d gotten the “mind if I come over” type text from James and had sent back a sure so when there was a knock on her door she wasn’t surprised. Getting up she set her notebook down on the table before glancing in the mirror, vain she wasn’t really but she didn’t want to look like she’d just woken up an hour ago and thrown on the first thing she grabbed even if that was the truth of it. Opening the door she gave the man a friendly cheerful smile as she stepped back out of the way so he could come inside, ”Hey there, come on in.” she said easily. |
