SO HOLD YOUR BREATH, BECAUSE TONIGHT WILL BE THE NIGHT THAT I WILL FALL FOR YOU, OVER AGAIN SASS W/JAY , 870 , sexy gal , TAKE YOUR TIME, GET USED TO HIM AND ALL THAT. it felt like a normal day for the irish girl even as she woke up, not getting that gut feeling that something bad was going to happen. she usually got the feeling and then ended up stubbing her toe or falling down the steps because of her naturally klutzy ways. today, while seated in her lecture hall learning about human behavior and ironically or not, the criminal gene, she was started to just doze off. the shifts at the bar were becoming later and later, causing her to close the place at nearly three in the morning and then having to get up for class at seven or eight. she managed well with the large amounts of coffee that were flowing through her system at all hours of the day. her pencil was tapping on the notebook, giving the illusion that she was taking notes before an elbow knocked into her side and she picked her head up to narrow her eyes at her friend. ”what?” [/b] she hissed out in a hushed tone, not appreciating being awoken from any slumber, even a cat nap in class. her friend said nothing just gestured to the professor who had stopped lecturing and was looking to her with a quizzical look. she knew this professor well enough, having started to grade for him as well as maintain a solid top grade in the class, so when her name was called by him, her head picked up and her brows furrowed. the look on his face was startling, his eyes hit the floor while a small piece of paper had been handed to him, ryanne sullivan, your academic advisor needs you..” and then the paper was tossed away but he kept looking at her as she packed up her stuff. her breathing was accelerated, never having been called down for anything no matter the school that she was in. ryanne was usually a good girl when in her educational institution, so why was she being called away now? moving across the row, apologizing to her classmates as she squeezed past their legs and moved up the steps and out the door. her bag swung against her side, ryanne could only think the worst. she stopped walking for a moment, trying to remember what day it was, who was left alive in her family and then the only other idea came to mind, the name slipping from her lips like liquid cocaine, ”jarred..”[/b] she muttered. it could not be that bad, they would not have called her into the academic office if anything had happened to them, right? her strides indicated that she needed to know that answer and she had to know it now. the slightly insane irish boy was not dead, nothing was wrong and that was all that she could tell herself while walking down the halls and then out of the building. she did not bother to ask people to move, pushing her way through the crowds with a blind rage that burned in her eyes. she was mad but she was not sure at what yet, being called from her class was a definite but if anything happened to that boy, she would personally kill him. ryanne would be the first to admit that she loved jarred and after everything that they had been through together, it was not going to end here and now. at this moment, she could hear her heart beating in her ears, her stomach felt like it was going to come out of her throat and her head was starting to pound due to the adrenaline mixing with the caffeine in her system, and she was craving a coffee—badly. reaching the building, she swung the door open and rushed into the office, taking a deep breath and staring at the floor as she dropped her bag off her shouder. students stared at her but one in particular caught her attention and her eyes narrowed in his direction, ”you son of a bitch!”[/b] she cursed out, her voice echoing through the small waiting room. luckily, not too many students were there and she would probably never see them again, though her first impression was certainly a memorable one. she kicked her bag aside, growling under her breath while trying to catch it at the same time, rushing a hand through her hair in pure agitation. she was not sure if she wanted to rush over and kiss him or punch him in the face. ”fooking hate you sometimes..”[/b] she muttered out with her accent thick to go along with her anger. ”you better get your ass over here before I kick it out of his office jarred..”[/b], but she took the extra steps and placed a hand on his cheek before raising it to lay a smack to the side of his head, ”that is for scaring the shit out of me..”[/b] she whispered before grabbing the front of his shirt with the throbbing hand and pulling him closer, pressing her lips to him, ”and that’s for returning to me.”[/b] she whispered, finally wrapping both arms around his neck and burrowing her face into the crook of his neck, breathing in everything that was jarred. Getting out wasn’t something to be taken lightly, there was no easy or simple way to do it since leaving got a man killed if he wasn’t careful about it. He wasn’t tired of the life, he just didn’t believe in the leader anymore and what they stood for. He wanted to be independent and take care of himself and the select few he cared enough to worry about. The list of people he gave a shit about was small, limited only to those closest to him and he would keep them safe no matter what it took. The job he’d been sent to do involved getting rid of someone who’d dropped the ball, removing them from the equation so their mistakes couldn’t be repeated. This person had let something slip to someone they shouldn’t have, that someone had been a spy of some sort and the police had gotten wind of what was going on. It was expected of him to keep tabs and not let himself get too “distracted” while away; charged with his “special task”. Rumors had spread about why he was away from the core group and he hadn’t confirmed or denied any of them because it wasn’t any of their business what he did. If he was using it all as one big giant excuse to work out his own exit strategy somehow? Then that was his business as well.
Jay had caught a flight out of New York; the cops local to the area he’d visited none the wiser that he was even someone too look at. Landing at the airport and heading to his car with only one bag he unlocked it and slipped behind the wheel speeding off toward his apartment. Getting there he checked the mail that had been left in his box while he was gone and the messages on the machine. The bag filled with clothes and random things was dropped off in his bedroom as he made his way into the bathroom stripping down out of his traveling clothes as he went and slipping into the shower to get clean.
Not a man to take long fussing with his looks or things like that he was back out of the shower and dressed in Jeans and a white button down shirt not even twenty minutes later as he moved into the kitchen to check on what he had to eat. Grabbing a jar of spaghetti sauce he dumped some into a sauce pan and boiled water adding the noodles into it to cook. He was a master at single servings of spaghetti from years of making it as a fast meal and he had it finished and ready to eat pretty quick before moving to his living room to sit and relax a moment.
Starting up his laptop as he tucked a foot under him settling into the couch he checked the clock figuring he had time before Ryanne would be out of her current classes so he could go surprise her with his arrival. He’d been in touch with her while away but not as much as he’d have liked and not as often either. He ate his meal as he checked e-mails and sent out his own to those who needed to hear back from him or who needed updated on one thing or another. Setting the empty bowl aside he stood closing the lid on the laptop without bothering to close it down, he stood and headed back to his bedroom to get his jacket from where he’d tossed it on the bed and pulled it on along with shoes.
Heading for the door and making his way out of the apartment building with a nod of greeting to a neighbor he unlocked his car and slid behind the wheel taking off onto the streets again. The drive to the university went by quickly and he pulled into a visitors parking spot making sure to lock the car behind him as he headed inside letting the woman behind the desk draw her own conclusions as he explained it was very important he see Ryanne Sullivan as quickly as possible before standing back to wait and watch the students coming in and out.
When Rya walked into the building he couldn’t stop a smile from quirking his lips as he watched her, waiting for her to realize. He knew the instant she had and while he’d hoped for a better greeting the one she gave wasn’t too much of a shock to him since she was a feisty type of woman. ”Hello to you too.” he greeted and chuckled to himself as her irish accent got thicker with her anger. He smirked as she ordered him closer and moved toward her meeting in the middle and letting his hands come to rest at her hips taking the hit with only a lifted eyebrow before slipping his arms around her as their lips met in a kiss. Holding her tight to him he chuckled pressing his cheek to her hair. ”I’ve missed you too. Surprise I’m home?” he said saying the last part in a playfully cheerful voice hoping to get a laugh from her at least. Pulling back to look at her his smirk came back as he glanced toward the clock. ”Told the lady at the desk it was very important…she thinks something is wrong and if we let her keep that assumption we can get out of here now as long as you don’t mind missing this class?” he said his voice low in volume so only she would hear.

SO HOLD YOUR BREATH, BECAUSE TONIGHT WILL BE THE NIGHT THAT I WILL FALL FOR YOU, OVER AGAIN SASS W/JAY , 879 , sexy gal , NO WORRIES, YOU ARE DOING FINE.. she had known for days, aware of his homecoming but never given an officially date. everything was so vague and ryanne hated vague, she hated being in the loop but never being told details about anything and jarred knew that. she had cleaned her dorm, gotten a haircut, fixed her appearance and had made sure everything was in order for his arrival. since he was gone, ryanne had moved out of the apartment that they had shared for a whole few weeks before he took off another job. it was hard, his job and her role in his life, but they made it work—they always did. they were hot and cold with one another but the love there never died, it only grew. her heart swelled to the thought of something happening to him and that was why she had walked quickly, with a purpose, to the idea of him being hurt, or worse. worse, well that would kill the irish girl and bring her to knees and it was rare for ryanne to drop to her knees for anyone or anything. the girl was too stubborn and too mouthy for her own good, she was not able to contain or even stop herself from saying the wrong thing and it was usually at the wrong time. to make matters worse, ryanne was unbalanced and showed no poise in anything that she did. her heart was racing, almost sitting in her throat and she could feel her eyes narrowing as she approached the office, forcing herself to keep her composure. she was nearly to the desk when something caught her eye, and her head whipped around to see him standing there in all of his glory and he dared to have a smirk on his face as though this was comical to him. ”you are such an asshole, do you know that!?” [/b] she yelled, the volume of her voice growing to the intensity of her feelings. she had a million thoughts of how to greet him but the best one was to smack or punch him as punishment for making her worry, something that ryanne hated to do but it was a common thing when it came to jarred and his job. their arms were around each other, as it was expected from both parties, for ryanne and jarred had always been a physical couple. they liked to know that the other was there and though ryanne was never one to usually show public displays of affection with anyone else, she was proud to show that jarred was in her life and he was in hers. ”hello..”[/b] she mumbled against his lips, not allowing him access to anything else but there was always time for that later. right now, in the middle of the office, with her anger slowly beginning to melt away, ryanne was just content to have his hands resting on her hips. ”you’re still an ass…but I missed you too..”[/b] she whispered into the crook of his neck while her arms tightened, being sure that this was not a dream and that he was actually standing there. her eyes narrowed and she shook her head, ”could have figured out another way for this to be a surprise. thought something happened to you ass..”[/b], giving the side of his head another swipe before nodding to him and placing a finger to his lips, ”pretty sure I can be an actress for two minutes.”[/b]. raising an eyebrow to him, she eyed the secretary who was eyeing her boyfriend but that was the usual reaction when it came to people seeing jarred since he was absolutely breathtaking. ”I CAN’T BELIEVE YOU! HOW DARE YOU…UGH…I NEVER WANT TO SEE YOU AGAIN, I HATE YOU!”[/b] she shouted, making the entire office look and doing a good job of punishing the male for his surprise visit. giving his cheek a smack, she stormed away from him, grabbing her bag off the ground and storming out of the office. instead of heading toward her classroom which was straight ahead, she took a left and waited at the side of the building. dusting the invisible dust off her shoulder as she walked, ryanne felt pretty satisfied with her performance. pulling her phone from her pocket, she pulled up the messages and quickly tapped across the keyboard, grinning to herself, think I should switch my major? hurry up or you don’t get your surprise.. and sent the message off while her steps continued. she knew which car was his and figured that he had parked out in the open. his car was never a friend to her, it was actually a device that was used to torture her as his speed increased and the color from her face would always drain. she had always been like that, even as a kid, just the simple glance to the car sitting in the parking lot was already causing the color to drain from her face but she leaned against the bonnet, feeling the heated engine that indicated jarred had only shut it off minutes ago. her bag dropped to the ground, her ankle boots were crossed at the ankle and her eyes scanned the surrounding area for him to appear, waiting with very little patience. So many factors could have changed it from “I’ll be home today” to “shit I’m gonna be late” so just not telling Ryanne when he’d be back exactly had been smarter even if he knew it annoyed her not knowing. He didn’t do it to annoy her he did it to protect her because knowledge could get a person killed if they wanted what you knew and to prevent any worry if he didn’t show up on the promised day. He’d noticed the signs that she hadn’t been around the apartment for a bit, she’d told him about that but it still wasn’t nice to know she’d been uncomfortable in their space while he was away. He hoped she could be persuaded to come back to the apartment now that he was back and would try working that into the conversation at some point today since he wanted to keep her safe and safest would be with him. He did not wince as her voice reached dangerous volumes while she yelled at him. No he didn’t but he kinda wanted to since it hurt the ears and showed how pissed she was at him at the moment. ”I’ve been told enough times that I have to just go on the assumption it’s true.” he said knowing sarcasm would be the wrong road here but taking it anyway since it was a well traveled path for him. He would find a way to make it all up to her and make it so she wasn’t so angry with him. Eventually he would figure that one out but for now she had a right to be mad since he hadn’t told her he was coming back today.
He smiled against her lips at the greeting, so simple and with the added bonus of a normal volume being used he knew they’d be okay. Having her in his arms was his goal since getting on the plane to come back and yes he’d shown up to pull her out of classes for that and to let her know he was okay. She could be upset with him over it but he considered it to be mission accomplished in the long run of things. A chuckle slipping past his lips as she told him he was still an ass he nodded to that and held her just a little closer having missed the way she fit into his arms. He grabbed her wrist after the second hit and gave it a gentle warning squeeze so she would know he didn’t want to be hit again. Considering her words a moment before answering he went with being honest even if she wouldn’t like it. ”If something had happened to my ass you wouldn’t have gotten called to the office. You might not have been called at all actually since it would have been an accident of some sort or you’d be notified by the police at home whenever they got my contact information from here.” he said honestly and hated having to tell her things like that because it was always a possibility that depressed him but she needed to be aware. Their situation was far from normal and she already knew that, but there were still a few details here and there she wasn’t aware of.
Her acting skills mentioned he waited to see where she would with this and lifted an eyebrow as she started yelling at him causing more of a scene than had already been made. It was one way to go about getting her out of there but he didn’t like the words even if they weren’t real. The slap earned a growl of anger from him that he couldn’t claim was totally an act since he was used to reacting to being hit not just letting someone do it even if it was Ryanne. ”Have it your way then!” he called after her his irish accent peeking through the words backed by frustration he let show for their “audience”. Glancing around at the people in the office he narrowed his eyes as he straightened his spine intimidating them into looking away. ”Women…” he grumbled before making his own exit following the same path as he made his way toward his car. He pulled his phone as the alert went off letting him know he had a new text and hoped it wasn’t a work thing as he checked before being glad to see it was from Rya and shaking his head to himself as he kept walking till he could see her leaning against the hood of his car. ”Next time I could do without the hitting. You should consider a swap though because those idiots in there looked pissed and sympathetic at the same time for the whole situation.” he said unlocking the car with the button and coming to stand in front of her. ”What’s my surprise? And are you coming back to the apartment?” he asked curious for both answers. He knew she would appreciate a little stall time before getting in the car since she disliked his driving.

SO HOLD YOUR BREATH, BECAUSE TONIGHT WILL BE THE NIGHT THAT I WILL FALL FOR YOU, OVER AGAIN SASS W/JAY , 879 , SEXY GAL , <3 HE'S AMAZING. GAVE YOU SOME MORE INFORMATION ABOUT THEM..BIT OF RAMBLING.. the outburst caused her throat to burn a little and she cleared it while walking out the door, flashing him a wink that went unnoticed because everyone else was looking at the good looking male who appeared to be stunned. ”fuck you.” [/b] she spoke, adding the finger gesture as she heard his last words and not appreciated that he took the final say when it was her own idea. a smirk was on her face as she strolled out of the office, heels clicking, hips swaying and her temper simmering down while moving to the outside of the building and waiting there for a moment. she looked down at the palm of her hand to see it reddening from the skin to skin contact that she had made against his cheek which was both for show and the fact that he had scared her. the slap was not hard but the growl that he had emitted did not go unnoticed either. her steps continued after having sent the message and she moved toward the parking lot, scanning the different cars before seeing his clear as day. his car was the nicest one there, looking spick and span for it’s trip home. the car and her had a love and hate thing going on where she would appreciate the quick time cut on her travelling time, but the fact that the driver was a speed demon behind the wheel was not anything that was appealing to the complex girl. she leaned her body, feeling the heat of the engine through the metal of the bonnet against her denim shorts. her ankles crossed along with her arms as she waited for his reappearance which she timed at another minute or so with the text message that he would have read by now. ”know you too well..”[/b] she muttered, standing up straighter to the sight of jarred appearing from around the corner and head toward the car. she chuckled, reaching up and placing a hand on his stinging cheek, ”oh did I hurt you sparky?”[/b] she asked, soothing the skin with her thumb before dropping her hand back to the hood of the car and leaning against it, her body moving closer to his, her back arching as her hands remained to herself for the time being. ”nah I rather enjoy psychology. I like guessing what you are thinking based on your movements, looks, gestures…”[/b] but not just him, the entire world was what she was interested in. she had first went into psychology to learn more about the criminal gene when she was still in therapy for her shoulder, never explaining to anyone except a fair few about what happened but that did not stop her from hunting the shooter which lead her to axel and danny and in retrospect, jarred. she had to owe something to the sawyer brothers but she liked to think that fate would have brought her and jarred together without the assistance of the idiots but ryanne could not deny that they played a big factor in her happiness at this moment. ”well I had to make it convincing. guess I owe you one little favor because really sparky, that slap was not that hard.”[/b] she spoke while looking at the car at the sound of the doors unlocking, ”hmm..is someone in a bit of a hurry?”[/b] or possibly the idea of getting in the car was already causing the color to drain from her face. she chuckled, giving her shoulders a small shrug and lifting her hands up while having a teasing smirk on her face. she enjoyed making him squirm just a little as it helped to keep their relationship interesting, not that jarred’s profession did not add that spice already. ”depends on if you want your surprise because I can tell you that none of the outfits are at your apartment. so you pick.”[/b] she spoke, finally leaning forward and pressing her lips to his. no matter how many times that the two kissed, and it was often, it never failed to give her a sense of nerves. her heart raced, her stomach flipped and her breathing accelerated, her palms even got a little sweaty as she lifted them off the heated car and moved her arms around his neck, pressing her body flush against his. she had truly missed this, feeling this close to him, and no matter how much she thought of their reunion, this was even better than what she had pictured. ”really did miss you sparky. try not to leave…at least for that long again.”[/b] because the time that he was gone had been too long, far too long for her liking. they had been separated before by heated arguments but they had always returned to one another, drawn back by the physical attraction and the complete love that they had for one another. no one in the world would be able to put up with either of them and though that made their relationship rather unpredictable, it made it perfect in her eyes. ”so which shall it be? your apartment for sex in this outfit? or my dorm for sex in something completely different”[/b] since that was exactly where the two were headed. her arms dropped back to her side and she grabbed her bag off the ground, moving around him and toward the passenger side of the car, ”coming?”[/b] she asked with little enthusiasm while opening the door. seated beside the driver’s seat, she buckled herself up and closed her eyes, ”but I did not miss your driving..”[/b] she muttered, her head already tilted back and getting herself ready for the nausea and paleness that would follow with the start-up of the car. He hadn’t expected her to take this path as a way to get out of school but from the looks on the faces of those around him now they wouldn’t be too surprised if she didn’t make it back to her class or to any other’s she might have that day. He was glad for that because it meant he would have her for the rest of the day to annoy and then unannoy then annoy again if he was lucky. Waiting till she’d mad her clean exit and he’d made his own he let his thoughts wander as he walked out to meet her running through many things as he went from how that would have looked to if it would work in other situations and also running through a few business things he’d found out about while back at home before he’d gotten impatient and come to get her out of classes. There were a few things he should look into and add his two cents to but he wasn’t going to bother with that tonight because it was the first night he’d be home in too long and he was spending it with ryanne and no business would interrupt if he got a say in the matter.
His cheek didn’t hurt from the slap, pain was something he’d learned long ago to handle or just not feel because it could only end badly if pain distracted you. He smirked as she saw him and lifted an eyebrow at the question shaking his head with his cheek brushing against her hand, ”Takes a lot more than a slap to hurt me and you know it angel.” he said with a chuckle and watched as she lent against his car. He couldn’t help shaking his head at her talking about reading his movements, looks, gestures, and what he was thinking, ”And you forget I was taught how not to give such obvious signs? Or that I was taught to give off signs opposite of what you or other’s who know what to look for might see just to throw you off?” he asked with a little cocky smirk before glancing around. He did it partially to see if anyone was around but mostly as a joke where he was giving away a sign she could read as “nervous” or “edgy” about who may be around. He figured she’d get that he was joking and just ignore it or play it off as nothing.
Rolling his eyes at her comment about it not being that hard he chuckled and shrugged, ”Just because it didn’t hurt doesn’t mean the instinct to react wasn’t triggered Rya…I’m not used to just standing there and letting people hit me for any reason and sometimes it’s a knee-jerk reaction to swing back so please remember that in the future alright?” he explained needing her to understand so that he didn’t accidentally hurt her one day. Shaking his head to her question he could tell the blood was draining from her face at just the thought of getting into the car with him driving but that didn’t change that they would be driving wherever they went. ”No not in a hurry.” he answered easily, it was the truth he wasn’t in any hurry right now. They had all night to do whatever they wanted and not have to worry about anything.
”well that changes things…” he muttered lifting his eyebrow at the mention of outfits a smile slipped across his lips as hers met his and they kissed. Kissing her was something he would never get tired of, or get enough of in truth. Resting his hands at her hips, he held her close as they kissed and enjoyed having her back in his arms and the feeling of being home with her. He wasn’t a fan of trips that took him away from her to begin with let alone away for so long as he had been gone this time. He smiled at her words and gave a small nod, ”I missed you too, next time it won’t be for so long.” he said planning to keep to his word on that since he didn’t want to be gone that long again. He would always be drawn back to her no matter where he went or how long he had to be gone, she would always be what brought him back and kept him fighting.
He let her go considering his options as he watched her move to get into the car and nodded to the second question, ”Yeah I’m coming and since the outcome either way is me getting you out of the outfit tonight I’d say let’s just go back to my apartment and not dirty a second outfit? We have plenty of time for the ones in your dorm later.” he answered and moved around to the drivers side climbing in and starting the car chuckling and shaking his head at hearing her comment. ”Well I did not miss worrying you’ll puke in my car while I’m driving so we’re even there?” he said phrasing it like a question though it wasn’t one. Pulling out of the parking-spot he’d gotten he headed off out of the lot driving like a normal human being in this sea of cars for a change though they both knew that wouldn’t last once out on the streets.

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=cellSpacing,10,true][/style][atrb=style, width: 525px; border-bottom: 20px #707070 solid, bTable]I CAN'T HELP IT, I'M JUST SELFISH there is no way that i could share you [style=height: 310px; width: 250px; margin-right: -520px; font-size: 8.5px; font-family: tahoma; text-align: justify; line-height: .9; text-transform: lowercase; overflow: auto; scrollbar-base-color:#A36954; color: #000;]her hand was stinging from the impact of skin to skin and she looked down at it while her body was leaning against the bonnet, red. it was a bright red, almost as if the girl had all of the blood rush to the palm of her hand in order to soothe the burn. curling her fingers, she dropped her hand to rest behind her, half sitting on the hood of the car and feeling the warmth of the cooling engine beneath her. he must have been driving faster than usually as the car should have heated down by now if he had been at a regular speed. she grinned when she saw him, a reaction that was often taking place around jarred unless ryanne was annoyed or just plain mad at the boy, but she was elated to see him again—the girl had really missed him. chuckling, she looked down at the ground and scrunched her nose, ”eh, I’ll have to try harder next time.” |
[/b] because there was going to be a next time and they both knew it, the question would be which of them would be faster. they were far from an abusive relationship but ryanne had the flying fists most of the time as a means to end an argument and it often lead to tempers flaring even more especially when she missed. raising an eyebrow, her head tiling to the side with an expression that was comparable to a confused puppy being scolded, ”hm, but that’s the fun thing sparky. i enjoy that about you, keeps the mystery alive..”[/b], reaching up to poke his nose and grinning. though ryanne was good at reading people, one of her many skills, she had learned to read the signs of when jarred was annoyed, how many times he blinked when he was lying, things like that and often she was wrong, but it was the persistent mystery that kept their fueled when it seemed nothing else was connecting them. love was evident between the two though, anyone that passed by could see it but with his job and her past, things just collided with one another to often than not. she shook her head, and lifted her palm, showing him the redness and then gently reaching up to touch his cheek, ”seems I got the brunt of the attack then.”[/b] she said, dropping her hand back to her side and standing straighter. her eyes rolled, a gesture that was not common for ryanne as she usually spoke her annoyance and her dismay for his words as the girl was most about being verbally open than showing through her actions but her eyes rolled this time and she shook her head, ”glad to know that it won’t be the last slap but I can duck.”[/b] she said with a shrug, knowing that jarred would stop himself before anything got too out of hand in that department. he was always able to stop himself, and herself, from doing too much damage to either one and she was thankful for that. he had self-control while as the years go by, ryanne was losing her own and falling to her knees to her desires from love to coffee. she never planned for this to happen, jarred had never been in the books of how she thought her life would go, but neither was her dad dying or leaving ireland but the change was good, or so she thought. things had turned out for the better when jarred entered her life, a time where she thought nothing could ever be right again. she nodded, looking to the car over her shoulder and giving the hood a tap, ”I think the poor thing needs a rest. overworked and tired..”[/b], but that was just an excuse to prolong the paleness and nausea that was to come with his driving. it was a skill that ryanne never picked up and opted to walking everywhere that she went which jarred was never okay with but that was her choice. the mere thought of being in this car was already causing the natural color to slowly fade from her cheeks. ”thought it might.”[/b] she chuckled, stepping closer to him and pressing her lips to his with no care for who was around. her arms moved around his neck, bringing them impossibly closer and her forehead touched his when the kiss ended. it was hard for ryanne to be apart from jarred from that long but they were reunited and she felt that nothing had changed since he had disappeared from her life. ”better not be a next time, or this time, I’ll tie you to a chair.”[/b] she grinned, kissing him once more before fully letting him go and rocking back onto her heels. it was an experience that ryanne never wanted to go through again, but there had been a moment of a desperation that jarred had tied the girl down and resentment had followed her around for the longest time but now it was a joke, something playful for the two of them to mock—as long as he never did it again. the girl hated to be restrained, tied down in the physical sense and having no control over what happens to her and trust that a lot of things had happened to ryanne. her life had not been an easy one but with jarred, things were just a little simpler. ”just don’t tear this outfit, I happen to like the shorts.”[/b] she grinned before getting into the car after having moved around to the passenger side and got in. her hands found her lap, gripping at the fabric of the shorts in a desperate attempt to calm herself. ”and you have to have coffee or we are making a pit stop..”[/b] which would either be for the girl to throw up or for her to have her elixir of life to sustain her a little longer. ryanne hardly slept, but she made up for it with the use of caffeine to an extreme amount. ”deal.”[/b] she murmured from feeling the car purr to life, the rumbling of her seat being a soothing motion before the actual jerk of the car into drive caused her eyes to slowly slide shut, ”ah fuck.”[/b] she muttered, tilting her head back and trying to lull herself into a sleep while jarred drove along the streets of the university, quickly approaching the streets that would cause the speedometer to rise and for ryanne’s face to pale. [atrb=border,0,true][atrb=style, width: 375px; border-left: 10px solid #336666; border-right: 10px solid #336666; padding: 10px; border-radius: 50px; -moz-border-radius: 50px;] [style=width:284px; text-align: justify; padding: 18px; border-top: 4px solid #336666; border-bottom: 4px solid #336666; border-radius: 50px; -moz-border-radius: 50px; line-height: 9px; font-family: arial; font-size: 10px; color: 434343; text-transform: lowercase;]Jay’s cheek was red from the slap and on anyone else it may be sore or stinging but he didn’t even feel it if it was. The woman who gave him the red cheek though, well she could sting him with words faster than with a slap or hit of any sort and she knew all the ways how to if she wanted to. He did try to avoid pissing her off to the point where she’d do something like that though since he didn’t like fighting with ryanne any more than he liked hurting her which was negative one thousand percent. He tried to protect her in every way he possibly could but she didn’t normally take too well to his protecting since it normally involved him telling her not to get involved in things or asking her to stay away from dangerous situations. He knew what to expect with her though and still he’d choose his irish firecracker over any other woman on the planet because while they might fight and disagree and argue a decent amount of time it didn’t change how they felt about each other. He loved Ryanne and had since the start if he was honest about it, and he knew he’d love her forever no matter what happened or what came up. There would never be another woman for him and he was perfectly fine with that because he would never want anyone else. Hearing her answer he shook his head at her as she said she’d have to try harder next time, ”Won’t even argue the ‘next time’ part but trying harder might break your hand and still won’t hurt me?” he said cocky but not untrue. Lifting his eyebrow at her he smirked a little and nipped her finger when she reached to poke his nose, ”Oh there’s plenty of mystery both with me and with us, like the mystery to the rest of the world about how the hell we work together when we regularly want to strangle each other. Or the mystery of why exactly I keep trying to get you not to walk straight into dangerous situations when I know you’ll be involved no matter what I say or tell you to do? Plenty of mystery.” he said chuckling to himself. It was too true that Rya would walk head first into any dangerous situation instead of turning and walking away from it like he asked so often.
Looking at her red hand when she showed him he frowned turning his head to kiss her palm to sooth the heat and sting of it. Childish yes, sweet yes, expected of him no, well not to anyone but Rya at least. He didn’t have a lot of “sweet” moments but the ones he did were for her and only her. ”Should be a tip for the future not to try it again? No point in you being the only one feeling it.” he said knowing it wouldn’t be the last time no matter what he said but saying it anyway. He shook his head with a sigh as she mentioned ducking instead of just accepting that taking a swing at him for any reason was dangerous even to her. He had control and he knew he’d rather shoot himself than hurt her but that didn’t change reactions and trained instincts/reactions and she was gonna get on the wrong end of those one of the times she swung out at him. He tried to keep himself in check with her, tried so hard not to hurt her or lash out ever and so far he’d managed to keep it under control and hadn’t hurt her but if she caught him on the wrong day at the wrong time it wouldn’t end well and he’d hate himself afterward. Snorting and moving away from thoughts of hurting her as she started talking about how his car needed a rest he shook his head with an amused sigh, ”It enjoys going fast and daring just as much as I do. It’s not overworked or tired, you’re just afraid of it when I’m behind the wheel.” he corrected her and gave a little smirk. He knew well that his driving made her sick and knew well not to poke fun at that fact but it was a temptation he found he was unable to resist a lot of the time when she brought it up. He didn’t like her driving either, the fact that she didn’t hit the speeds he most liked and actually paid attention to traffic laws made him twitchy and feel like he needed to just take over driving which was why he didn’t often if ever get into a car with her.
Smirk still in place as she stepped closer to kiss him again he slipped an arm around her to rest his hand against her lower back holding her close to kiss back while the other rested between her shoulder blades making sure she couldn’t pull away before he wanted her too. He would never force her into anything obviously but that didn’t mean he’d let her move away before either of them were good and ready for her to do so. Looking at her as their foreheads met to rest against each other he felt the smirk turn into a smile as he looked at the woman he loved there in his arms after too long apart. ”You know my job’s unpredictable angel, next time I won’t let it be for so long but I never know if there’ll be a next time I have to go out of town or not until it’s here.” he said not about to promise never to leave just so he’d be forced to break a promise to her when he had to go for one reason or another. There wouldn’t be any tying anyone to a chair if he could avoid it, he’d learned that lesson before even if it was an effective way to get her to stay put. He didn’t want to let her go right now and the thought of cuffing her wrist to his was a tempting one for about a half of a second now that his mind was on restraints of any sort. Letting those thoughts slip away he let her pull back from him so they could get into the car and shook his head a little at her bid for her clothes to stay whole, ”I make no promises when it comes to tearing your clothes.” he said easily and focused on his driving with his normal amount of attention which most would consider to be too little and still listened to her as she spoke to him. ”There’s coffee in the apartment I saw it in the cupboard earlier.” he said easily as he navigated his way out onto the streets to take off toward his own apartment his speed’s climbing as he went.

[/b] and that would be, challenge accepted. they were never a violent couple but their fights were explosive at the worst, or maybe the best, of times. they often spat words at each other before even thinking of raising a hand, her moreso than him, and walking away was always the better option for the two of them. she pulled her fingers back, ”don’t bite me.”[/b] she mumbled, curling her fingers into her palm, but not in a tight hold to form a full fist. though she then dangled her fingers in front of his face once more, bopping him on the nose with the tip of every digit on her finger before dropping her hand back to the hood of the car and leaning her body further against it. ”that is a mystery, but I’ll crack the code one day. I think the answer could be love…”[/b] she said with a cocky tone to her voice as the girl always had to be right, and she was right in this case, ”and my smart mouth naturally for the latter of those questions.”[/b] because ryanne could never keep her mouth shut in order to let herself listen to the bad guy talk to her. she always had to get the last word in and unless she was silenced, which was often, by some kind of tape or hand, she was always talking. it was hard to get the girl to shut up and she figured it was due to the coffee that was constantly running in her veins. she chuckled to the kiss, raising an eyebrow and glancing at her hand as it began to tingle from his touch, she shook her head, ”not even a sting? appease me a little. let me know I’m not just a weak little thing.”[/b], giving him a childish grin upon her lips before leaning in to kiss him, her body arching into his but her hands still resting behind her. she was not in the mood to fight and was especially not eager to get into the car and drive anywhere and knowing his track record, it would be the same thing every single time. shaking her head and giving a glance over her shoulder to the car, she patted it, listening to the hollow sound and then glancing at him, ”it has no more power left. see, listen…no engine, I dissembled the thing while you were inside.”[/b], and she wondered how to gain that skill cause she would have used it in a heartbeat. walking or the bus was her kind of transportation as walking allowed her to enjoy the fresh air as well as stay on her own speed but then there was also the bus which had to go the legal speed and it did not make her want to empty her stomach at any point. pressing his lips to his once more, she felt her body arch into his at his touch, her head not moving, mostly cause it couldn’t, and her chastised kiss turned into something with a hotter degree. ”sparky..”[/b] she mumbled against his lips, needing air to breathe and found it was impossible to catch her breath when he was kissing her. he usually took her breath anyway but his kissing was a whole new classification of breathless. he released her head, letting her crash their foreheads together and glare at him for a split second before her eyes directed down to stare at the ground with a grumble to his words. she hated when he left her, hated to see him get on a plane, train, into the car and depart from her life once more. ”you really, really, really need a normal fucking daytime job.”[/b] she growled out, an actual growl following her words as she pulled away from him and stepped around, bending down and grabbing her bag while tucking a strand of hair behind her hair. she was tired of him leaving, the attacking, the kidnapping, the weapons, and his training were all something that she could take but the idea of him leaving her again was painful and she had to swallow down the harsh words that were sitting in her throat. again, she was not in a mood for a fight and the topic of his job, andrew and her safety were always topics that were too heated for them to handle. rolling her eyes, she glanced at him, ”the shirt only.”[/b] tugging at the loose fabric on her body that showed off little of her upper curves but the shorts that she was wearing showed off her tight backside and her long legs. ”good cause it’s been a whole three hours and I feel like I’m dying..”[/b] she mumbled, glancing out the window after having gotten into the car. she tried to avoid looking at the speedometer but she could feel the car rumbling louder and louder giving her the sign that the speedometer was moving just as fast. the color in her face started to drain, leaving her ghost white and she was sure that her lunch was slowly climbing up her throat, ”fuck hurry up!”[/b] she hissed out, hating the feeling of being queasy and just wanting to get out of the car before her lunch would be seen for a second time today.[/div][/center][/td][/tr][/table][/center] THIS POST IS THE PERFECT AND INCREDIBLE SASS WITH HER CHARACTER, JARRED [/COLOR]. [atrb=border,0,true][atrb=style, width: 375px; border-left: 10px solid #336666; border-right: 10px solid #336666; padding: 10px; border-radius: 50px; -moz-border-radius: 50px;] [style=width:284px; text-align: justify; padding: 18px; border-top: 4px solid #336666; border-bottom: 4px solid #336666; border-radius: 50px; -moz-border-radius: 50px; line-height: 9px; font-family: arial; font-size: 10px; color: 434343; text-transform: lowercase;]Jarred knew all too well how it was at times Rya’s mouth that was his enemy, not just in when they were having an argument between them either but when she got kidnapped or when someone was using her as a weapon against him. The way she’d mouth off at her kidnappers or the people “calling the shots” at the time were part of why he had to move double-time to get her back because she’d say the wrong thing and the people he knew would kill her just to shut her up. If they ever killed her they’d learn he actually used restraint when dealing with situations and people he didn’t like. Jarred “unleashed” would not end well for anyone who got in his way, though they wouldn’t know that because they’d all be dead. He hated being the reason she was in danger, hated knowing that when she was taken or hurt it was because she was with him or that she’d be fine if he wasn’t around. He wanted her to be happy healthy and safe but being with him sometimes she wasn’t any of those things and she was rarely to never safe. Looking at her as she mentioned not saying what had been on her mind he lifted an eyebrow, ”And what would that be?” he asked curious now and chuckled as at her mumbled words shaking his head at her. ”Warning label clearly tells you that I may bite.” he joked but didn’t try biting any of her fingers as they each touched his nose.
Lifting an eyebrow at what she thought the answer could be he smirked and gave a half shrug, ”Have a fair idea that that could be it.” he said and snorted at mention of her smart mouth. ”Your smart mouth starts more problems than it could ever solve and while I put up with it others don’t which is why even I’d like to put duct-tape over your mouth sometimes.” he said honestly since she already knew he’d gladly duct-tape her in front of someone who’d try hurting her to prevent her saying something that would lead to her getting hurt all the faster. The only bright side to any situation was they seemed to be learning, somehow word spreading that “jarreds girl” had a mouth and to put something over it to prevent the tongue-lashing she’d give or whatever else may come of it. Small blessings not that he’d ever let her know he thought of it that way since it would only start a fight and he didn’t want that fight. Her comment about him appeasing her a little had his eyebrow lifting again at her before he smirked, ”My face is a bit warmer where you hit me than anywhere else? A lesser man would be unconscious or crying for his mum.” he said not really appeasing as much as teasing her now but it was just playful not mean or so he hoped she’d understand. He would never get enough of her kisses and the way she fit against him when they pressed close together. Though thoughts of kissing left his mind at the threat to dissembling his car and he shook his head, ”First, you’re not suicidal so I know you wouldn’t do that to my car and second I could just put it back together.” he said confidently knowing his own skills with a car.
As their lips met again once the minor concern for his car passed he didn’t want to let her go from him but knew that the parking lot wasn’t the place for what he wanted to do to her. The heard the nickname she had for him slip from her lips across his own and smirked in response before releasing her and studying her face as their foreheads pressed together. He knew the talk of his work and how he might have to go at any time to take care of some business or other bothered her, he knew but it wasn’t something he could change right now. Her words did earn a chuckle from him though and he smiled, ”Someday maybe…Today is not that day and tomorrow doesn’t look good either…I’ll get back to you on that.” he said in an attempt at joking so she’d calm down about the whole thing. He didn’t plan to be part of the life forever, he wanted to one day be done of it and making his own life but he hadn’t found his opportunity to get out yet. He had a few promising leads and chances but they were things that needed developed further before he could start considering them real plans. He would work it out some day so he could give her a better life, a safer one at the very least but they had to be patient for that day to come…as if either of them were good at waiting for anything or being patient in any way.
Smirking at the “shirt only” comment he shook his head a little and looked her over feeling confident in being able to check out his own girlfriend though any other man caught doing that would be singing soprano forever. ”No promises.” was all he had to say to that one restating his earlier words about her clothes. He would probably remember the shorts were off limits but just in case an accident happened he wouldn’t promise to be careful. His head shaking with an eyeroll at her comment about how she felt like she was dying after 3 hours he chuckled to himself as he drove. ”Addict.” he mumbled knowing he was bad for feeding that habit of hers so he couldn’t say too much. Her words about hurrying up though had him lifting an eyebrow glancing her direction a moment before refocusing on the road again. ”Well that’s a change from what I normally hear when it comes to my driving…Fine I’ll hurry.” he said giving the car more gas and increasing the speed as he headed toward his apartment building. Pulling into the lot in record time with her in the car he slipped his car into its normal spot and killed the engine. ”If you’re going to be sick at least open the door and lean out that direction.” he said as he slid himself out of the car moving around to open the door for her and offer his hand to help her out.
