[style=font-family: helvetica; font-size: 13px; letter-spacing: 6px; text-transform: uppercase; text-align: center;]LAURA FULL NAME: Avery Hayden Fontaine ALIAS: Av DATE OF BIRTH: 08 May, 1987 AGE: 25 OCCUPATION: Oncologist SEXUALITY: Heterosexual PLAY BY: Gaspard Ulliel TOURIST [style=background-color: #664340; border: 10px solid #664340; font-family: georgia; letter-spacing: 10px; color: #ABA291; text-align: center;]personality Avery is introverted. He's a sufferer in silence, and he's closed off. He probably won't tell you anything about him other than his job and what he likes and dislikes, unless you're something special to him. Even then, it will take a large amount of trust for him to open up about his family. He's very good at controlling his emotions, which is a major flaw of his. A lot of the times he doesn't even show his emotions. But, nevertheless, he is kind. [/style]Avery is passionate about his job. He's an Oncologist, which means he's a cancer researcher. His grandmother, one of the few people in his family that he actually liked, died from blood cancer. He wants to rid the world of cancer, but unfortunately, that's not going to be for a long time. His job is frustrating because of this fact. But, every discovery just means they're one step closer. Even though Avery hates his family, he's so very passionate about his country. He likes America, but he'd die for France. He doesn't really understand Americans, either. They're so..open and diverse. In France, diversity isn't very big. French culture is the best, the French language is the best, and French fashion is the best. He isn't stuck up about it, he's just...proud. Underneath Avery's tough shell is a very warm, and compassionate man. He's sincere and kind. He actually cares about what people are going through, but it takes a bit of digging for someone to actually find that side of him. He's a hopeless romantic, and he's just waiting for that special woman. [style=background-color: #664340; border: 10px solid #664340; font-family: georgia; letter-spacing: 10px; color: #ABA291; text-align: center;]physical description Everyone's always told Avery that he's the spitting image of his father. But he refuses to think that. He stands at an average 6'1. He's got muscles from being trained in self-defense, but he's not huge. He does run and lift weights to keep himself in good shape, but nothing strenuous. [/style]You may see Avery with a little bit of hair on his face a lot of the time. He does shave, but he wants a little something there. His thick, brown locks hair a mind of their own. He just washes his hair, combs it, and lets it do what it wants. He has deep blue eyes, that in some lighting, look black. When he smiles or smirks, you'll notice that he has deep dimples and smile lines. He has a couple of scars from training and when he was beaten. One is on his left cheek, and the other is on his chest from getting cut by a knife. When you see Avery you'll usually find him wearing dark clothing or casual dress up. He isn't a fan of shorts and tennis shoes like Americans are. Back in France, he often shopped at Louis Vuitton, A.P.C, Saint James, and agnès b. They only time you'll probably see him wearing something bright is when he's in his lab coat or a white shirt under a black suit. [style=background-color: #664340; border: 10px solid #664340; font-family: georgia; letter-spacing: 10px; color: #ABA291; text-align: center;]history Avery is the first born of the Fontaine Family, a very powerful Mafia family in Orleans, France. From the time he was born, he was expected to take over the family business. Not even his other two brothers were considered, and girls can't become Don, so his younger sister was out of the question. Avery was treated like a prince, while his other siblings were treated like an inconvenience. He never understood how his parents could be so cruel and careless. If they were going to treat their other kids like trash, what was the point of having them? But that's just it. It was his parents' job to kill and be cruel. It was the family business. [/style]Avery's preteen years were filled with training; combat training and target practice. He learned how to shoot a gun, how to build a gun, how to load a gun, and he learned how to shoot someone in between the eyes from 30 yards away. He hated every minute of it. He felt like a monster, and there was no way he could save himself. He hated himself, and he hated his parents even more for making him do this. The first time Avery told his father that he didn't want to do this anymore, he was severely beaten. He was told that the only way he would get out of the business was if he died, and he took it literally. When he was 14, he hung a rope from the bar on his window. He was so close to dying before his mother found him. He was cut down immediately, and after that, he was kept away from anything sharp, or anything he could use to suffocate himself with. When he was let off suicide watch, his younger brother, Marcus, had already replaced him. Avery wasn't special anymore in his parents eyes. Marcus was the new chosen one, and the boy was loving every moment of it. He had a bloodlust in him that Avery never had. Since he wasn't involved with the family business anymore, he was free to do pretty much anything he wanted to do. He had no interest in anything that has to do with guns or killing people. He dealt with enough of that in his family. So, once Avery was sent off to college, he studied different kinds of biology, chemistry, maths in medical school. He also learned how to speak fluent English. He volunteered at the local hospital in Orleans, and he even visited the hospital in Paris. As much as he did to forgot his family, to get away from their violence, he couldn't escape it. He was a helper, someone who saves lives, not destroy them. So, once Avery saved up enough money, he moved to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. He's now working at the hospital, and he's happier than he's ever been. But he's heard news from his sister, Beatrice, that things in Orleans are getting rough. Marcus is more power hungry than ever, and the troubles will soon find Avery in America. |
